Paul Grignon's 47-minute animated presentation of "Money as Debt" tells in very simple and effective graphic terms what money is and how it is being created. It is an entertaining way to get the message out. The Cowichan Citizens Coalition and its "Duncan Initiative" received high praise from those who previewed it. I recommend it as a painless but hard-hitting educational tool and encourage the widest distribution and use by all groups concerned with the present unsustainable monetary system in Canada and the United States.

I DON’T PAY ATTENTION TO ANYTHING WRITTEN ALL IN CAPITAL LETTERS. IT’S ALMOST ALWAYS CRACKPOT B.S.
Is it as good as that real estate infomercial video with Tom Vu, the asian guy on the yacht surrounded by hot babes?

If I remember, I found that video very helpful right up to the point where it started pushing socialism as the answer. I think this is the video. Just ignore the ending.
YES!!!
I saw this last month, and it should be seen by every Freeper...Twice!

You work, and in exchange you get little green pieces of paper which in and of themselves have no value (unless you want to wallpaper your bathroom). You cah, however, use them to stake a claim the work of others (who choose to exchange THEIR work for your little pieces of paper).

I think the whole point is that 99 percent of Americans don’t understand the scam. I thought this was a great simple video on how fractional banking and fictional money creation works.
Scam?
Fractional Banking is not a scam, unless you believe that Capitalism is a Scam.
Playing lose with the rules can be considered a scam but because more dollars can be created by loaning money is not a scam but an instrument of wealth creation, just as digging up out of the ground shiny metals is.
Both dollars and precious metals are a medium of exchange, nothing more.
I really like the scene with the babes all lined up on the boat rail showing off their butts.
Thanks for the ping, Cal.
Me too! That’s when I called the 1-800 number and provided my credit card info.
I finally watched. It's true that money is debt, but I'm not sure the producer understands. There was virtually no attention paid to the Federal Reserve and none to the US Treasury. Both of these organizations create paper and once they exchange this paper each of them gets to pretend that the paper they received from the other is an asset.
The absence of faith in gold and silver as money lead me to wonder how much monetary history the producer is actually familiar with. It is no small accident that the US Government didn't get to the present monetary system in some dramatic overhaul (though FDR did make a pretty important change) but rather by making lots of small changes that they hoped people wouldn't notice. (e.g. when they stopped coining silver, the coins they issued instead were made of copper with a thin veneer of nickel to make them appear as if they were silver) Like the frog in water where the temperature is slowly increased until the frog has been cooked, we are in big monetary trouble; but most people still do not realize this is the case.

Of note, is that near the end they talk about one world government.
Its good to view this with an eye to imagining what might be going on beneath the surface given gold today now at $1350, along with the 'rats near zero concern for being decimated in November.
