The well-known WII museum of Normandy, France, authorized within its walls a conference organized by the extremists who pretend 911 was an inside job.
Held on September 16, 2008, the conference features several commentators, from the one attributing the 911 attacks to the neocons to the one saying it was the jews.
The "Memorial de Caen" was built to commemorate the millions of Allies who landed in France in 1944 to liberate the country.

The French shouldn’t have liberated in 1944. They really didn’t deserve freedom then, and even less now.

Back when Oliver Stone directed the movie World Trade Center there was a lot of positive feedback on FR because it was the story of first responders and I posted a warning the movie lacks showing fanatical Muslims flying planes into the Towers and many people jumped on my stuff saying “Oh that does not matter” but I pointed out three French bestsellers that blamed the US and still I was told “everyone knows who did it” but I stuck to my point and since then there have been various polls showing quite a lot of people doubt the terrorists were responsible and such people have become known as “Truthers”.
Never take for granted “what people know”.

We didn't liberate France. The French were safely in the hands of enthusaistic Vichy collaborationists. German officers enjoyed freely and without fear all the pleasures of their second home, Paris. French officials busilly and efficiently(for them) rounded up those troublesome Jews and sent them, on French railroads, to Germany for the extermination camps.
France was not liberated, it just got lucky because it was in the way of the Allies.
