(GREEN BAY, Wisc.) As she continues to sharpen her attacks against her Democratic rivals, Sarah Palin accused Barack Obama of not abiding by his campaign’s own mantra.
"Now earlier today our opponent told his supporters to go out and argue with those who disagree with him,” Palin said. “He told them to get in your face, and you know, that doesn't sound like the politics of hope or the politics of change to me.”
At a campaign event in Elko, Nevada, on Wednesday, Obama did incite his supporters to argue with people who question his commitment to protecting the Second Amendment.
“I need ya to go out and talk to your friends, and talk to your neighbors,” Obama said. “I want you to talk to ‘em whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you argue with them, and get in their face, and if they tell ya, ‘Well, we’re not sure where he stands on guns,’ I want you to say, ‘He believes in the Second Amendment.’”
Palin also hammered Obama for his lack of executive experience, while at the same time touting her own understanding of energy policy, which she says she developed as governor of Alaska.
“Our opponent says he wants to help Americans who are struggling with high energy costs,” Palin said. “But time and time again, he’s sided with special interests and come out against solutions that would help Americans heat their homes and fuel up their tanks and pay their energy bills. And maybe if he’d been the governor of an energy-rich state, he’d get it.”
This is rich! Bring it on.

The only thing Obama's thugs haven't mentioned yet is their need for brown shirts, jackboots and batons.

Obama and his democrats hate Americans, and it's becoming dangerously obvious with each passing day.
It's the politics of hope, hoping that he can find a few people on the fence that don't know how anti-gun he's been his entire career. I'm guessing that his poll people have identified this as a serious weakness that needs to be addressed, which cheers me greatly.

“Get in their faces” Read that as ... Shut down Free Speech if they don’t agree with the need for CHANGE they are a danger to the country and need violent verbal abuse and attacks to limit their ability to get their message out.

Obviously, Obama would never show lack of support for the 2nd amendment, which is why he couches his support in very general terms. If he becomes President, all of his SCOTUS appointments will be radical leftists who “interpret” the 2nd amendment to mean literally only “State Militias”, as in National Guard, police, etc. Make no mistake, Obama wants to ban gun ownership period. He isn’t anti-gun, he is virulently anti-gun. Guns are a threat to authoritarian governments.

I heard a rumor (don’t know if it’s true) that Obama’s education was sponsored and paid for by rich Saudis. Does anyone know if that’s true?
Excellent points Palin made. She and McCain need to hit on these themes.
That is so true about his judicial appointments. Same thing with the Justice dept. McCain/Palin should talk about this a lot, though Americans are too brainwashed into thinking only the economy matters. I hope in the debates they don’t just repeat that “strict constructionist” theme. They have to hammer Obama for planning to appoint judges who have the best interests of criminals and terrorists in mind, not victims. Just look at Obama’s voting record in IL.

It seems to be so. Khalid Al-Mansour, a terrorist friend of Bill Ayers who sanitized himself to respectability in much the same way as Ayers did, is supposed to have been the guy that pulled the strings and funded his education.
Of course all this happened before Ayers and Obama supposedly met, but what the MSM failed to note is that while Obama was studying at Columbia, Ayers was less than a quarter mile away studying at Bank Street College!
They also had friends in common (Edward Said) so it is more than likely they met and knew each other.

was over at the PUMA site and someone is supposedly volunteering for Acorn to see what they are up to. There was one interesting tidbit in her comment.

Now this comes from a blog so I don’t know how true it is, but I thought I would share it. If it is true I find it absolutely disgusting.

This looks like more proof that Obama is a pro-terrorist crypto-Muslim and part of a conspiracy to take over the government of the US to turn America into an Islamic republic. We have to work very hard to ensure this atheistic Communist Muslim never becomes President.
Well, if Senator "Coke-head" Obama wants to send his minions out to get in the face of gunowners, it's fine by me.
Indeed, I highly recommend that Senator Obama use all of his campaign budget to trying to convert NRA, GOA, SAF, and JPFO members to the merits of gun control.
In order to easily locate gunowners, I feel that the Obama campaign should deploy all of their resources to gun shows, and to arguing the merits of gungrabbing with the attendees. Senator Biden would probably attract far more attention from such appearances than the few dozen people that the local union hall can provide.

What Obama wants is a confrontation, without video, which ends in violence.
He would love to spin an encounter between his thugs and one citizen with a gun.
Better yet, his black thugs attacking a white person. Surrounding that person with threats, until fear forced the gun owner to protect his life.
Without video, all the thugs will claim they were shot at for no reason other than their support for Obama, and the color of their skin.
He wants a death. He needs a death. Evil needs death. Death of ideas is not enough.
