Here's the reality. John McCain and Sarah Palin are trying to lie their way into the White House. We cannot let them get away with it. But if you don't act to stop them, nobody will.
Right now, the McCain-Palin method of stubbornly repeating lies and crying foul every time they're called on it is being imitated in GOP campaigns all across the country.
So, unless we want to lose another election to Republican dishonesty and cowardice, we better take things into our own hands. Democrats are facing the last critical FEC deadline before the election on September 30th. And our goal of reaching $6 million for our Rapid Response Network is only $1,200,200 away. We are so close will you help put us over the top?
Rush a generous donation to help the DCCC's Rapid Response Network, a fund to help get our candidates on the air, stay on the air and never back down. It's time to show McCain and Palin what we're made of - and if you give today your gift will be matched 2-to-1 from House Democrats.
Don't let Republican candidates lie their way to victory. Donate $20.08, $35, or more now to help Democratic candidates fight back.
You don't have to be a soothsayer to make this prediction: Unless McCain and Palin both develop a chronic case of laryngitis, they will lie again. (And even if they do lose their voices, they'll lie in their ads.) Maybe Palin will repeat her mantra about saying "thanks, but no thanks" to the Bridge to Nowhere despite demonstrable, provable, check-the-videotape-for-yourself evidence that she supported this famous symbol of wasteful government spending as a candidate for Governor.
Heck, she's gotten her state and city so much pork, she's at risk of trichinosis.
One thing we know for sure is that McCain and Palin will stop at nothing to win this election and Republicans across the country are imitating their tactics. We cannot afford not to act - the election is only 45 days away.
Donate $20.08, $35, or more now and your gift will be MATCHED 2-to-1 to help Democratic candidates fight back.
Let's put an end to it. Join me in challenging lapdog journalism everywhere we see it - and in supporting Democratic candidates who will face a blizzard of Republican lies in the days ahead. Make a matched contribution today!
On to victory,
Paul Begala
Paul Begala.
It’s not a name, it’s a punchline.
To Hell with the silly bastard.
Reminds of Alan Alda.
Both display an incredibly insincere approach to communication.
Anytime anyone asks me what a sleazebag is I normally say, “You know. Like Paul Begala.”
What is there about liberals and the word “lie”? It’s the charge of choice for almost everything they don’t like or don’t agree with.
They have no concept of truth or lie. It’s like it’s some sort of sacrament for the religion of Liberalism. Where Christians delight in words like faith, grace, atonement or holy, the Libs use the word lie as though it had some magic power. I guess it’s no coincidence Satan is the Father of Lies and described in other less positive terms throughout scripture.
This has got to be a hoax. Even Begala is not stupid enough to write this.
Sex education in elementary school.
According to news follow-up reports, the “sex education” in kindergarten was on how to protect yourself from predators. As someone who had a bad experience in that regard as a 7 year old, frankly I wish they had taught that in my kindergarten.
I’ve seen piles of dog crap with more integrity then Begala.
Very sorry for your bad experience.
If this kind of curricula had been taught in your school, it could have been worse for you and many of your schoolmates.

You can't really expect anyone to take you seriously, can you, Paul?

As I understand it, Palin was not against getting government funds for this project initially, and as she found out more about it she deduced the federal money could be spent better elsewhere and successfully advocated putting the would-be-bridge money to a better transportation use.
By the standards this charge implies, she should have seen the concept as a demonstrable waste before she knew much about it, and/or refused federal dollars altogether.
So, to only be against it after she figured out it was wasteful makes her an evil liar.
Interesting thing is that the Dimocrats/Liberals/Socialist fall for this stuff - otherwise, “The Forehead” and his ilk would not be trying this sophomoric stuff. I have always said that the Dimocrats/Liberals got stuck in Junior High - and this proves it.
Like John Kerry reminding everyone he served in Vietnam, Paul Begala always manages to remind everyone he is from Texas, like that makes him more of a man.
If so its not a particularly clever hoax.

Sounds like authentic Democrat-speak to me.
Sometimes The Forehead acts like a foreskin.
