Deen has also invited Republican John McCain’s wife, Cindy, and his running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, to spend equal time in her kitchen.

I hope Cindy McCain and Gov. Palin both accept the invitation.

The Food Network hasn't advertised any upcoming episodes with Cindy or Sarah but I'm sure they will hustle to get something in the works now that so many of her fan base isn't happy with last night's show. It takes a few weeks to get these shows air-ready so I have to question when she asked the newcomer Sarah. I also question the Cindy and Sarah invites because a good Southern lady would never have left out an invitation to the unknown and virtually invisible Jill Biden.

I hope they accept. Let Sarah whip up a little bit of the best Alaska has to offer and then Cindy can take Paula out drifting in her Vette. I'd watch that show!
