Extensive research was conducted by the Jawa Report to determine the source of smears directed toward Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Those smears included false allegations that she belonged to a secessionist political party and that she has radical anti-American views.
Our research suggests that a subdivision of one of the largest public relations firms in the world most likely started and promulgated rumors about Sarah Palin that were known to be false. These rumors were spread in a surreptitious manner to avoid exposure.

Not only that, but the link, in PC lingo, has been “sanitzed” from the net. Clicked on both links, nothing there.
Link goes to page with trackback url and nothing more.
Try the homepage for Jawa. I reading it from there. It’s the top story and will be for now, I’m sure.

Jawa promised something “big” for late tonight or early tomorrow......we shall see.
Your link is dead too.
Thank you. Now that that is solved, sleep time.
Thank you!
You’re welcome.
I think this is the longest article on Jawa in ages!
Good detective work, names named...but what will come of it?
The family that runs the PR firm has extensive ties to the Democratic Party, the netroots, and are staunch Obama supporters.
Here’s a nice ‘Reader’s Digest’ version, for those of you near bedtime, over at Patterico’s:

Gee....who woulda thunk?! ; )
The have some GREAT information on the person who got it all started!
YouTube user cnwinner (Charles N. Winner?) appears to be directly involved in a concerted effort to add legitimacy to the video’s lies about Palin.
And just what is winnr.com? An alternate dns designation for Winner & Associates. A firm that employs one Ethan S. Winner. (they also have a photo of him!)

Very interesting. Of course, the only way this can get any traction is if someone pursues the campaign finance angle.
Maybe the ‘Obama campaign manufacturing fake viral videos’ could as well. As in, Obama claimed to be a new kind of politician but he’s just a sleazebag. Or, better, IMO, that he’s unwilling to be honest and straightforward with the American people and instead prefers to manipulate them surreptitiously.
And lastly, props to stupid liberals who can’t figure out how to cover up their tracks on the internets.
Now we know how that crap got spread too!
Obama campaign spreads fake smears online with aid of corporate dirty tricks firm?
Obama afraid to take his opponent straight on so he hires sleazebags to do it online?
Obama campaign violates campaign finance law with fake online smear ads?
“A Group Of Concerned Americans” who we have reason to believe is Ethan S. Winner or other employees of one of the largest PR firms on the planet.

What a thorough investigation of these lunatics!!! How about we report them for not reporting their PR to the FEC?!
Yep, Rusty and his crew were certainly busy this weekend digging up this stuff.
But honestly...who the heck uses their intials and last name and such for login names anymore? I know some do here and other places, but to do that- especially when you’re involved in a “mission” whether for good or bad seems sloppy to me.
But now, it’s off to bed with me.
Jared Liu-Klein, aka, "stckyfngz", you see works in "Public Relations". And there just happens to be a Jared Liu-Klein who donated to Barack Obama.
That would be the same Jared Liu-Klein who represented Valerie Plame for Winner & Associates.
******
I think Winner & Associates have some explaining to do!!!
No wonder we had 'saint' Valerie Plame posted all over the web which was nothing but a lie!
This is BIG alright! Go check it out. It’s fantastic research!

Jared’s mother is Carol Liu, a Democratic politician who previously served in the State Assembly & is currently running for State Senate. His father is Michael Peevey, the Gray Davis appointed President of the California Public Utilities Commission.
There was a bit of a scandal involving Jarad’s parents last year when it was revealed by the L.A. Times that tens of thousands of dollars contributed to Carol Liu’s campaign came from industries regulated by her husband. Businesses that also hired W&A to handle PR for them during the California Energy crisis. The crisis which would eventually lead to Gray Davis’ recall.
Heck, CNN et al probably have had dealings with the PR firm in question at one time or another!
Wouldn’t that be a nice fat smoking gun?

As expected, SuRi made a week long stop in Marina Del Rey, California. She was parked in Basin A and I enjoyed seeing her incredible box of toys. The grand daddy was a heliport with a built in lift that lowers the helicopter into the protected garage. In addition, they had a beautiful 40’ wooden ski boat. I would love to see her accompanied by her mother ship.
I look forward to the next mega yacht making a stop in Marina Del Rey.

Wow, what a nugget of a find, stuff you just can’t make up!
Charles Winner
President & CEO, Winner & Associates
Mr. Winner began his career in the political world, working within the legislative and executive branches of the state and federal governments, and in senior management positions in numerous national, state and local campaigns.
He co-founded Winner & Associates in 1975
Mr. Winner is also a partner in Winner & Mandabach Campaigns. Formed in 1986, Winner & Mandabach has directed more than 150 ballot measure campaigns with a 90% success rate.
Paul Mandabach (b. 1948) is a partner in the firm of Winner & Mandabach Campaigns, a political consulting firm in southern California that specializes in ballot measure campaigns.
In 2007, Mandabach gave $1,000 to the Al Franken for U.S. Senate campaign, $2,300 to the Hillary Clinton for President campaign, and $1,000 to the John Edwards for President campaign. In 2004, he donated to the John Kerry for President campaign.
Mandabach invests in thoroughbred horse ownership, and is a part owner of “Domestic Dispute” and “Statement”.
You would think he would have the good sense to hide his activities on youtube. Maybe he doesn’t really understand how these internets work.
Lance Brisson, chief operating officer of Winner & Assoc. worked as a reporter for the Los Angeles Times, several national magazines and a local television station.
Julie Benson, Vice President of Winner & Assoc. started her career as a reporter/editor, working for the Los Angeles Times Syndicate, UPI and Scripps Howard.

Now I will be up for an hour sending this out to my Dem friends who still have not seen the light. Thanks for the post.

Incestuous - just like Washington D.C.
You can express your opinions to these smear merchants here if you have a YouTube account
Wouldn’t load...?
Try this if you have a YouTube account
Leave them a comment.
Let them we are on to them.

I just tried it and it worked for me.
There is a lot of circumstantial evidence in this report, but it seems plausible. If the allegations are true, it’s a blockbuster exposé.
They took the videos off of YouTube within an hour of Jawa Report putting up its story. Coincidence?
P.J.’s little ant farm is in this up to their eyeballs.
This is bigger than finding out Soylent Green is people!
EXCELLENT job Rusty & co.
This must be too big to be ignored by the MSM.
Jawagate ‘08 may prove the largest nail in the Obama coffin.
Get it to EVERYONE you know: Obama is a proven fraud.
I was hoping you’d be here with your ninja research skills! ;o)
Thank you!
And, keep up the good work!
The "crisis communications" aspect is especially interesting. It's easy for a PR firm in that line of work to orchestrate a political smear machine. They know how to do it.
But those tactics can be beaten.
As a recent example, look at Vinod Gupta at InfoGroup. After Gupta thought he had eliminated the photos of himself hobnobbing with the Clintons, they surfaced on Free Republic. Then Gupta hired Sloane & Company for his crisis communications campaign, to no avail. In the end, he was kicked out of his own company as chairman and CEO and agreed to repay millions of dollars that he had swindled from the company. Then the damning SEC Report about the Clintons' corporate waste was released on the eve of Obama's announcement of his running mate. If there was any chance of Hillary getting on the ticket, it ended with that report.
And for the icing on the cake - when Bill Clinton's multi-million employment contract with InfoGroup expires on September 30, 2008, it won't be renewed. He is effectively fired from his do-nothing job too.
Currently, the FEC is dysfunctional for investigating this sort of stuff. But a U.S. Attorney may be interested in taking a look at them anyway, and if the allegations are true, the Winner boys are going to look pretty stupid with their nuts nailed to their forehead.
Incredible work! Now, what are all of you going to do about it?
