Any chance it has something to do with this?
There was a poll out about a week ago that showed McCain ahead by 20 points. How could there be such a wide difference?
That’s 20 points higher than dems in Congress.
Thats 20 points higher than dems in Congress.True. But fair or not people tend to blame the president more.
I can’t believe we are going to lose Dole. What’s up with that?
If that’s true, Palin needs to make an appearance with her like soon.
Rasmussen sent a notice last week stating he was slightly increasing dem affiliations and dropping Repub for no reason except a guess just like Gallup did but with no verbal notice .Rasmussen weights by party based on a very large poll of voters self identification and Gallup doesn't weight by party at all.
If it was truly this close in NC, BO would be leading in VA by 10-12 points and would be essentially tied in TN and WV.
Read the WIZBANG website analysis of the Gallup raw data vs the Poll results.
There is a party affliation in the mix and they just won’t admit it.
Exactly! If homeboy Edwards couldn’t do it, there is no way that this radical is that close.
Dole is in big trouble.
Correct; but all the other polls have been showing Dole up by 5+ points.
I agree.
“The only Obama bumper stickers I see, are almost always either on a vehicle driven by a minority, or an old and battered Volvo covered with Moonbat stickers. I rarely see an Obama placard in front yards, and when I do they are again usually minority home-owners.”
......
LOL...you paint a pretty vivid picture, especially with the “battered Volvo covered with Moonbat stickers” description. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen that car like 1,000 times myself.
Here in the PNW you have to include the large population of pinheaded, Charlie Gibson wannabe, Prius drivers as well, which happens to make up a significant portion of the Seattle/Portland metro areas.
It is not true.
NC made a mistake and became a high growth state. As a result, you are a magnet for the Northeastern exodus that is stuck on stupid. I personally apologize for that.
It’s the opposite over here in Derm. I’m living in the middle of Obama Country...between the racial politics in Durham proper, and the sheer influx of northern liberals in RTP, I can’t get away from the Big O of Doom and have yet to see one single solitary McCain or McCain/Palin sticker on my daily commute.

It's not.
I *do* see more Obama signs than McCain ones...but that's par for the course. The only people that I know of who are voting for Obama, would be voting (D) anyway.
NC will go (R), as usual. Perhaps a little tighter due to the black turnout, but it will be a 8-10% victory, instead of 12-15%.
