There are plenty of real Christian churches that are predominantly African-American. Our church is mostly white, but we have "sister churches" in other parts of the state where we have ongoing projects, missions, and other work. Sometimes we exchange pastors. A guest pastor spoke about 6 weeks ago.
There was no doubt he was committed to one cause: that of Jesus Christ.

REALLY? several thousand words and Christ is not mentioned one single time. So how is this a CHRISTIAN Doctrine?
Are they committed to solving the execution-style murders of three of their church members, including Donald Young, the choir director? Are they committed to working with the Chicago Police to release the phone records that will either exonerate Barry or confirm Larry’s story?
Why does being BLACK have to do with anything else in this “churchs” belief?

It is Christian in name only, not by any of it’s creeds. There was nothing to tie it to Christianity, meaning the Christ of the Bible. There was nothing about Christ, His life, His sacrificial death, His resurrection, or the other basic tenets of the Christian faith. It is an empty religion, all about self, but especially the “black” self.
