Obama has been fighting the notion that he opposes gun rights, stressing on the stump that he backs Second Amendment protections. His campaign has released a radio ad featuring American Hunters and Shooters Association head Ray Schoenke telling hunters the Democratic nominee won't come for their guns.
"The bottom line is this. If you’ve got a rifle, you’ve got a shotgun, you’ve got a gun in your house, I’m not taking it away," Obama said earlier this month in Pennsylvania. "Alright? So they can keep on talking about it, but this is just not true."
(Obama also said at the time that even if he wanted to take hunters' guns away, he "couldn't get it done" since he doesn't "have the votes in Congress" - a statement that did not exactly put sportsmen's fears to rest.)

This reminds me of Bill Clintons’ stand on the death penalty. He claimed he was supportive of capital punishment, but the two farleft liberals that Clinton put on the SCOTUS were both opponents of capital punishment.
Fauxbama is trying to pull a clinton in that he’s saying that he will never take your guns away but that begs the question. It’s not him that I’m worried about on this and other important issues, it’s his flawed judgement in his selection of members of the high court. Does anyone out there really believe that a fauxbama appointee to the SCOTUS would not join the Stevens, Souter, breyer, and ruth buzzi brigade of gungrabbers?

Osama will come from this in several ways. He’ll advocate cutting off ammo and reloading supplies making your gun nothing more than a club or paperweight. He’ll also advocate making only single-shot weapons legal. He’ll make anti-gun a litmus test for justices on the Supreme Court. He’ll set aside 1 acre in each state as a federal gun preserve where owners can legally shoot at targets under strict supervision of the BATF, but close off the rest of the US to any form of shooting. There is a lot he can do or advocate to severely limit our 2nd amendment rights without actually eliminating the 2nd amendment.
Does anyone know what sort of 527’s are out this year, I expected to see a few by now. I live in a “battle ground” state and just saw ‘rightchange.com’ last night, but that’s it.

It's not a stretch to say this clown will say anything to seize the reins of power. He's a clear and present danger to freedom.
If you believe in your right to defend yourself, your family, or your home, Barack is not anything like you. Don't you think he knows that the criminals, who serve as armed auxiliaries for totalitarian movements, will be armed anyway?

Notice the title of the article? The NRA begins push to tarnish Obama on Guns. How about a more unbiased title like The NRA begins it’s campaign to reveal Obama’s position on guns.
