Obama very non-committal in terms of suspending campaign.
I think he does not want to be seen "in action" in Washington. He would be but a bit player.

Oh, the 90%+ of homeowners busting their butts to make their own mortgage payments are just gonna love this provision....

It should be a condition that every one of them gets thrown out on their asses.
I bought a modest $125,000 house, even though I gross about $90K a year.
Why?
Because I didn't want to get in over my head, and I'm not.
I have ZERO sympathy for people that want me to pay for their mistakes.

Those of us who are responsible will pay for those who are irresponsible.
This is a core Democrat value.

Obama says Dems will allow no bail-out bill that does not let "all homeowners in trouble" to keep their homes. What does this mean? That the taxpayers pay every mortgage in jeopardy in full? THat friggin guy is just so stupid.

In Philadelphia, the Sheriff refuses to foreclose any homes, period, says he works for the voters not the banks.
Friends, the democrats are about to do to America what they have done to the cities. The housing/credit markets will not survive a government that prevents lenders from repossessing homes for nonpayment, nor can we all afford to make everyone’s mortgage payment for them.

In the end, if Obama tries to stay on the campaign it would make him look very selfish and petty given the seriousness of the situation we have now, and that could do tremendous damage to his campaign.
To: SJSAMPLE
Oh, but you are going to be forced, at gunpoint, to pay for others’ irresponsibility. It’s the liberal way.

This dumb plan will make the $700 billion bailout into a $2 Trillion bailout. And since the default rate will skyrocket, that $2 Trillion will be worthless.

Never thought of that, but he will be what he is—the junior senator sitting in the back of the room. While McCain is sitting in the front row—lol. Obama blabs, blabs, blabs. I can’t stand Obama. Obama is not suspending his campaign. He is not going to delay the debates. He says he is showing up. I am sure he will continue with his commercials as well, whereas McCain is pulling his commercials until Monday or until he comes back. <p.Obama is so very parisan. He is a hateful person.
