Bella Star Eduardo Verástegui Urges Hispanic Voters to Reject Obama Over Abortion
Life News ^ | 9/24/08 | Steven Ertelt

Los Angeles, CA (LifeNews.com) -- Eduardo Verástegui, the former Mexican singer and actor who starred in the hit movie "Bella," has recorded a new video asking Hispanic voters in the United States to reject Barack Obama because of his pro-abortion views. Verástegui challenges Latino voters to make abortion issues the centerpiece of their voting decisions.

In the new video, conducted in Spanish, Verástegui, says Obama is out of step with the overwhelming majority of Hispanics who are pro-life.

“We need to put an end to abortion and political candidates play a very important role in this matter,” he says.

Verástegui tells viewers that Obama supports abortions throughout pregnancy, including late-term abortions, and has opposed a ban on partial-birth abortions.

Moreover, the actor says Obama “wants to finance abortions with the tax dollars you and I pay.”

The Bella star also talks about the votes Obama cast during his tenure in the Illinois legislature that would deprive newborn infants of medical care if they survive botched abortions.

He says Obama “voted on several occasions against a law to protect babies who survived an abortion and were born alive."

Verástegui describes the bill Obama said he would make his first signature as president, the Freedom of Choice Act, that makes legal all abortions throughout pregnancy and overturns every abortion limit in all 50 states.

“Obama is committed to removing all the pro-life laws that in many states currently offer protection to unborn babies and their mothers. Mr. Obama does not agree that the parents of a 13 year-old girl who is pregnant should be notified before she has an abortion,” he explains.

“Obama is more interested in maintaining the legality of abortion that in the well-being of the babies, children and families of this country. Let us unite and do something to defend life at every stage, from conception to natural death,” he adds.

During the video, Verástegui punctuates his comments with images of unborn children and pictures of babies who died in abortions.

He also condemns how abortion advocates frequently place their abortion businesses in Hispanic communities.

“Abortion is not only a lucrative industry; it is also used by people who are racist as a means to eliminate our people, since they consider us to be a threat to democracy in this country,” Verástegui says.

He complains that abortion is legal “because there are not enough men and women who raise their voice against abortion.”

Abortion is a big no no for Hispanics.. they are very conservative in that sense, but big on social programs.

More that 3000 AMERICAN BABIES are murdered EVERY DAY in the United States and that's NOT ENOUGH to satisfy Obama's bloodlust.

Barack Obama's "Freedom of Choice Act" Would Mean 125K More Abortions

“Abortion is a big no no for Hispanics.. they are very conservative in that sense, but big on social programs.”

Which is one reason I have such a low regard for the black church. 95% of blacks in this country will vote for Obama, solely because of his skin color—no matter that he supports abortion, same-sex marriage, gay rights, etc. (And will appoint judges who do the same.)

Is there no higher value in the AA culture other than solidarity with members of one’s own race?

which brings to mind the following passage:

Psalm 106:38
They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood.

Oh yes. If you haven't seen the movie, I recommend it.

Life Chain Sunday is October 5th in most areas. Our local Life Chain in Deer Park, TX will be Sunday, October 26th. It is suppose to be a non-political event. If I'd had my way it would have been the Sunday immediately before the election. Check for a Life Chain in your area.

I wish I could say it’s mystifying why Obama would call pro-lifers evil etc...

But in the last days..

good will be called evil, and evil will be called good..

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes And clever in their own sight! Isaiah 5:20, 21

Friends --- It is extremely important that each one of us ACT to make this Eduardo Verastegui video go viral in the Hispanic community.

EACH of us needs a plan of action.

I myself had previously volunteered to travel to a nearby "battleground state" (Virginia) to work for the McCain-Palin campaign for the last 10 days before the election, October 25-November 5. But now I think that it would be even more effective and important to spend some time EVERY day doing things to spread this video so it explodes in the hearts of thousands and tens of thousands of Hispanic people in the USA.

Here's what I commit to do in the next 3 days:

If we would all do the same or similar, we could LAUNCH THIS VIDEO into the Spanish-speaking community, where it could spread like wildfire.

I think we should keep in touch with each other about action ideas --- what we can do -- to make this happen.

It could swing the election.

It could save lives...

...families....

...souls.

Let's each do something. Just one thing....

.

.

.

Please.

Tax-chick,

YouTube has already (in less than 24 hours) deleted the full-length version of Dura Realided, (it was "in violation of their guidelies" dont'cha know) but it is still available at
http://www.durarealidad.com

YouTube s still hosting the edited version (no pix) at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rx5A029sEPc

You have some Hispanic friends at your parish; so do I. What do you think of the possibility of sending them an e-mail and asking them to view these video and --- most important --- to forward the links to everybody in their e-mail address books?

And -- any ideas on how to help this "Go Viral" in Facebook and Myspace?

My hispanic ministry coordinator can forward the link to a substantial group. I’ll get it to her after lunch.

I know totally nothing about YouTube and MySpace, sorry!
