And so how is it that someone gets the opportunity to prove that he’s ineligible for the office, if noone but McCain (as the defeated candidate, and he isn’t going to throw stones) has standing to sue, and the media and various “powers that be” are utterly uninterested in exploring the issue.

Presenting solid evidence supporting your case would be a start. Rumors and wild tales aren't doing the job, you need to show conclusively that he wasn't born in the U.S. How are you going to do that?

You’re saying that after he’s elected all of a sudden some party will be able to call the President of the United States onto the carpet about his eligibility, when noone seems to be either able or interested in doing so before he’s elected.

Again, evidence is the key. He isn't going to do your job for you.

Well, as I’ve said repeatedly, Berg’s case hinges on far more than the single item of Hussein’s birthplace—even if it is taken as fact that he was born in Hawaii, there are a myriad of confounding issues related to dual and/or lost citizenship and divided loyalties to be contended with, all of which are supported by ample evidence—you ought to know that, and acknowledge it, because I’m fairly certain you did read the complaint and are familiar with the Indonesian adoption issues, the passport/Pakistan trips, etc.

The “burden of proof” does not fall on the plaintiff, as you assert. In a criminal case, yes, the burden of “proof” is on the prosecution—but this is a civil suit, and decided merely on the preponderance of evidence—not proof beyond a reasonable doubt. Furthermore, plaintiff’s statements are given credence so far as procedural diligence so as to compel the defendant to answer.

But let’s take the single, simple, disqualifying fraud and felony of Hussein’s falsifying his Illinois bar application by swearing that he’d never used any other names than Barack Hussein Obama.

It is clear to all but the most derelict of participants here and elsewhere that not only is Hussein’s affadavit thereon patently false, but also very easily refuted, as it’s by now common knowledge that he’s been known by other names throughout his life (Barry Soreotoro or however you spell it, Barry Obama, et. al.).

But besides, you were saying that after the election, if he wins, Hussein could be impeached or whatever. But you didn’t answer my query as to how you think this would happen, if apparently noone is able to challenge him legally before the election, and those who could, won’t.
