"Donna Brazile: No Need for Nominees to Show Leadership on Bailout Bill"

yes exactly we need no leadership, just a telepromter and words like "hope" and "change".

As in I "hope" we have alittle bit of "change" left after Congress buggers all us taxpayers for 700 billion.

This issue is huge. McCain sees that and is being an adult. He participates and if elected will all ways be responsible for the out come. Obama is trying (childishly) to triangulate. He, once again, positions himself without any responsibility. If it works he can take credit even though he did nothing except stay out of the way. If it fails he can point fingers and blame and say “I told you so” even when he did not. Think Obama himself on the war or Bill Clinton on welfare reform or balancing the budget. Obama is just playing the “Slick” card!

Exactly how does a fat, racist female version of Al Sharpton become “...a political contributor??” If she wasn’t a politically correct skin color she’d be taking out the trash at McDonalds!

His body language suggested he was very annoyed.

I'm surprised he's been this calm. This was supposed to be a coronation of Obama, Lord and King, as Supreme Being of the Universe, yet Palin and McCain keep upstaging him and now he finds himself in a real fight.

How dismayed he must be :)

You would think that if he showed up in Washington that he could raise our economy from the dead. I guess he just doesn't feel like it today.

The 'done deal' is the Dhims adding 500B for retooling the Big 3 for more fuel efficient cars, and another Billion or so for conversion of government vehicles to CNG.

Leave it to the Dihms to call the game 'over' before the players on one side get to the field.

Well at least she didn’t say that Jesus wouldn’t have gone to D.C.

He’s fundraising because his decision to renege on his promise to take federal funding has left him short of cash.

You’re right-your outlook is probably better than mine. Maybe I’ll try your approach.

An expected response from the party that played a large part in this mess and which has no answers for how to fix the mess.

McCain did the right thing but the question is will he use this to slam BO? He needs to have immediate commercials that make the case that senator McCain is temporarily setting aside his political ambitions to do the job he was elected to do. Senator Obama on the other hand refuses to set aside his personal political ambitions to fulfill his elected duties in addressing this problem that could have dire effects on our economy. If BO tries to hold the debate with out him McCain should jet in at the last minute and make a big scene about how BO has neglected his senatorial duties to hold this “all about me” debate.

Some of the conservative talking heads are blasting McCain for setting aside the debate because the debates are what the public wants. That’s crap. Covering and commenting on the debates is the talking heads bread and butter. The debates are contrived and usually biased toward the left and delaying them will do nothing of harm except to the face time of the talking heads. The real question again is will McCain play the deck full of cards he now holds to his advantage?

You’re right about dem hands all over this mess and that should be evident by the new dem push to link one of McCain’s people to the companies in question. They are already launching a pre-emptive strike.

I hope he exposes the rats dealings in this but I’m not sure he and his people are smart enough to get down in the dirt and fight.

Absolutely!

0bama knows he doesn’t have to do anything to fix the situation, because, he knows it isn’t broke for him. It is just where he wants it to be if not sooner than he expected, like gas prices. All the useful idiots around the Bolshecrats are just tighten the noose around their throats. They will bemoan the fact that what Naomi Wolf was complaining about is precisely what they got.
