Federal indictment of Governor?
WJBC ^ | September 25, 2008 | Metro News Service

Could Illinois Governor Blagojevich suffer the same fate as convicted former Governor George Ryan? Sources tell CBS 2 News Chicago that Federal agents claim to have enough evidence to indict Blagojevich on fraud and conspiracy charges. However, the report says the investigators aren't the ones who make the decision to prosecute. That would be up to U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald and the Justice Department in Washington.

Wasn't he in McCain's recent ad and the MSM said - Nothing here, move along?

WBBM reported on a possible Rezko connection:

Prosecutors also mentioned Blagojevich in an indictment as the intended beneficiary of at least one extortion attempt by Blagojevich fundraiser and businessmen Antoin “Tony” Rezko.

Rezko was convicted June 4 on 16 of the 24 counts against him. He awaits sentencing in October on mail and wire fraud, aiding and abetting bribery and money laundering convictions. He still faces two more trials.

The Chicago Sun-Times has reported Rezko could cut his prison time significantly by cooperating in investigations of other public figures.

Blago has been keeping $65,000 of Rezko's running around money for him. Been in the news the last few days in Chicago.

What a dream year - Blago goes away and the Cubs win! Cubs win!

Looks like Rezko’s singin’ like a bird. He won’t hurt his buddy OhBomUs though, so Blago’s tossed overboard.

the Cubs win!

Cubs? Oh yea...that team up on the North Side.

Real baseball happens at 35th and Shields.

See Daley's latest brainstorm? He's going to ban liquor sales in Wrigleyville from the 7th inning until 2-1/2 hours after the game is over.

I actually heard him say "The bar owners make enough money the rest of the year."

Why that chucklehead hasn't been dragged out of City Hall and beaten with sticks is beyond me.

Here’s hoping they get the charges filed soon because it’s looking to be a very surprising October.

But...but..but Blagojevich was gonna appoint himself to Obama’s vacated Senate seat after Obama is president. America needs a real close look at the thuggish Chicago Rat machine that has ruined the state of Illinois before one of them becomes president.

Wait till you see the rules roll out if Chicago gets the Olympics. China will seem like Mayberry RFD. King Richard also implied that any bar owner that did not comply might have trouble getting their booze license renewed. Welcome to occupied Chicago, breeding ground of Obama.

Since most of the foreign visitors during the proposed Summer Olympics come from Nanny States, this move will make them feel right at home. If he’s going to try to impose his way, Daley should consider St. Patrick’s Day and New Year’s Eve, too. Has he ever seen Wrigleyville on a typical weekend? Oh, that’s right, he only comes to the North Side for the Gay Pride Parade.

Go Sox! let’s bury Richie in foie gras!

What is it with Illinois Governors? Every one of them has faced allegations or charges since at least the 1970s. Sheesh.

GO CUBS!Just a pity Harry Carry isn`t around to see it,I know he couldn`t sing, but I did enjoy “Take me out to the ballgame”,every seventh inning.Remember when someone asked him what key he sang in,his reply,”the only key I know is whiskey”.
