It's been at least 30 yrs I'm sure, but I still remember the episode where Lou Grant was apoplectic because Ted, vying for the prestigious "Teddy Award", was PRAYING on the air in the middle of his newscast...

While I don't like the idea, it is virtually impossible to segregate out CC debt, car loans, etc. from the lump sum people took out, in excess of the mortgage, and even sometimes in excess of the house's value at the time, and used that excess to fund other "lifestyle" choices. But I also hear it includes College Loans!!! Yikes...

Make sure you watch this.....Barney Frank, Chuck Shumer Greenspan, Pres Bush etc. on the impending Fanny/Freddy crisis in 2003 -05-05 and 06. Great clip!! Shows clearly who was most negligent!
