You know, we spend some portion of time on FR talking about what issues in culture, immigration, government, etc. will lead to the second American Revolution, or to a Civil War within this country. Much of it, I believe is nonsense.

This however, this “Truth Squad” driven by candidates, involving partisan prosecutors and sheriffs, THIS is what will trigger the sort of breakdown that would unravel any demeanor of civility in this country.

That which is intolerable to one may be a mosquito bite to another. In one locale, infringements of guaranteed rights may be mostly pro forma, in others they may be rigidly enforced and thereby far more apparant.

But civility has pretty much gone by the wayside, not quite the first casualty of such a conflict, but among the first.

Trust me, none but the bravest will dare to disagree with Lord Obama or his minions if he gets elected. And those who do will disappear in the middle of the night.

I really don’t think I’m exaggerating here.

It was kind of odd how Chicago investigator Sherman Skolnick *just happened* to pass away just before Barack Obama announced his run for President. Skolnick was founder and chairman of the Citizens Committee to Clean Up the Courts, which nailed two Illinois Supreme Court justices, Roy J. Solfisburg Jr. and Ray Klingbiel, who had accepted bribes of stock from a defendant in a case on which they ruled. The scandal catapulted John Paul Stevens, special counsel to the resulting investigating commission to a seat as a justice on the U.S. Supreme Court.

Skolnick had indeed uncovered so many links between plots and participants in conspiracies that he may have come to see some where none existed...but he also uncovered others that noone else had noticed, and Obama was right in his back yard.

Today Russian President V. Putin ordered U.S. Senator Barack Obama, who is also tight with MOSSAD, to be held in custody under suspicion of being a British operative illegally spying in Russia at off-limits secret facilities.

A US delegation headed by Republican Senator Richard Lugar, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, was detained Sunday for three hours at an airport in the Siberian city of Perm, Russia before being allowed to leave the country for Ukraine in a diplomatically chaotic incident Sunday. US officials were nonetheless anxious to downplay the incident in an apparent effort to avoid diplomatic fallout with the increasingly hard-line regime of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has publicly expressed dismay over a number of US-Russian disarmament programmes.

A U.S. delegation headed by Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, was detained Sunday for three hours at an airport in Russia before being allowed to leave the country for Ukraine.

Russian border guards at the airport in the Siberian city of Perm demanded to search the U.S. government aircraft carrying the delegation, which also included Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., who was making his first foreign trip since becoming a senator. Obama is also a member of the Foreign Relations Committee.

American officials, citing a U.S.-Russian agreement that does not allow such inspections, refused to allow the search, leading to a three-hour standoff at the airport, ...

Subject: Proper use of Criminal Justice Resources

Why are you threatening to use government resources to prosecute political enemies?

I saw a video tape on WMOV featuring you as a member of the so-called “Obama Truth Squad” saying you would officially “remind voters that Barack Obama is a Christian who wants to cut taxes for anyone making under $250,000 per year.”

Are you doing this on government time, using government money? How is this a part of the function of government for the city of St. Louis?

Your mission statement says: “To pursue justice for all citizens within the highest standards of ethical behavior and professionalism.”

Your quote:

“We want to keep this campaign focused on issues. We don’t want people to get distracted - Missourians don’t want to be distracted - by these divisive character attacks. So we’re here to respond to any character attacks, to set the record straight...” Your comments were cut off at that point.

“Missourians don’t want to be distracted” - so you’ve decided that you speak for all of Missouri? No one is allowed to counter the claims of Mr. Obama? I think you said it right the first time, “*WE* DON’T WANT PEOPLE TO GET DISTRACTED...” You, as a government official with police power behind you, will use your authority to track down dissent and put an end to it, with official authority, I assume.

If I were your supervisor I’d have your resignation on my desk first thing in the morning for making a statement like this to the press while in your official capacity. This and the actions of like-minded sheriffs and other members of law enforcement are completely outside the bounds of your duties and authority. It isn’t the job of attorneys or sheriffs to be concerned about what individuals say about a political candidate they favor, unless the First Amendment was overturned last night. And have you extinguished violent crime in St. Louis and now can use police powers to harass law-abiding citizens for exercising God-given rights our forefathers died to protect?

How do you justify participating in a so-called “Obama Truth Squad” in your capacity as an attorney for the City of St. Louis? Is it your opinion that your official duties include hunting down political opponents who dare to criticize Mr. Obama, using the power and resources of the City of St. Louis? May we please see that your job description so we can determine if this is part of what you are paid to do? Do your supervisors and constituents approve of your using government resources and time to go after political opponents? Is it now the policy of the City of St. Louis to intervene in civil matters (unless libel is now a criminal offense in Missouri, if so, all the more reason never to move there!) when your office represents CRIMINAL matters?

The video has put a deep fear of government into my heart. I thought we’d never have a police state, but I guess we are on the way to having one now. To think that a senator campaigning for president has the power to wield police power against his enemies. This isn’t the United States I was raised in.

I work for a company based in St. Louis. Thank heavens I do not live there. Hugo Chavez, you have some warm friends waiting your advice in the office of the City of St. Louis.

Are you going to prosecute me for writing to you? I am almost afraid to send this to you, for fear of government retribution. You have most of the guns and money, after all.

And yet the DUmmies complain when anarkids are arrests for breaking windows and assembling pee and poop bombs in St. Paul, along with molotov cocktails. Either way the election goes in November, there will likely be civil war afterwards. Yes, even if Obama loses, the lefties are going to throw a temper tantrum like you have never seen.

“Oh, geez, this is a sure sign of things to come if Obama is elected President.”

Did you notice that there was dead silence among democrat congressmen? It is the same silence that you hear from the “peaceful” Muslims when their co-religionists perpetrate these horrible terrorist acts.

The DUmmies sure do like their brownshirts. Not surprising, democrats love totalitarian tactics.

Thank God I'm not in Missouri, where it's illegal to campaign against Democrats.

They should be impeached or recalled, if possible.

Certainly defeated in their next elections.

“The Barack Obama campaign is asking Missouri law enforcement to target anyone who lies or runs a misleading TV ad during the presidential campaign.”

After much reflection I have now come to the uncomfortable conclusion that Obama WANTS to cause dissension and strife in our country... maybe even riots if he loses the election.

This is VERY SERIOUS and needs to be nipped in the bud NOW by ANY and ALL LEGAL means at our disposal!

The nasty little fascist and his brawn shirts must be stopped!

Perhaps the United States Department of Justice can be encouraged to look into this.

If Obama were any kind of a leader at all he would publicly tell these people to stop. He would forbid them to interfere with the 1st amendment of the constitution. That would certainly earn him more respect than this stunt could ever.

This is for real...

From Barack Obama's official website:

“I wanted to make an art piece of Barack Obama because I thought an iconic portrait of him could symbolize and amplify the importance of his mission. I believe Obama will guide this country to a future where everyone can thrive and I should support him vigorously for the sake of my two young daughters. I have made art opposing the Iraq war for several years, and making art of Obama, who opposed the war from the start, is like making art for peace. I know I have an audience of young art fans and I’m delighted if I can encourage them to see the merits of Barack Obama.

-Shepard Fairey

See? It's all about "peace, love, togetherness" and "change".

Here are some of Fairey's other masterpieces. No joke. Most of his works are along these same lines (anti-American, pro-communist propaganda). Check the link.

Source: The Jonathan Levine Gallery:

From a 'thank you' letter Barack Obama sent to Shepard Fairey:
"Dear Shepard, I would like to thank you for using your talent in support of my campaign. The political messages involved in your work have encouraged Americans to believe they can help change the status quo. Your images have a profound effect on people, whether seen in a gallery or on a stop sign.'"

* Provided an arsenal of weapons to Black Panthers who used them to kill a Marin Country judge in a failed attempt to free Davis' imprisoned lover, Black Panther murderer George Jackson
* Icon of the campus Left and frequent guest speaker at anti-war rallies

Angela Yvonne Davis is a tenured professor in the “History of Consciousness” program at the University of California - Santa Cruz. A former member of the Black Panther Party, she is currently a “University Professor,” one of only seven in the entire California University system, which entitles her to a six-figure salary and a research assistant. This income is supplemented by speaking fees ranging from $10,000 to $20,000 per appearance on college campuses, where she is an icon of radical faculty, administrators, and students. Davis has also taught at UCLA and the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

You’d think that a bunch of government officials using their position in an attempt to threaten and bully the opposition would go against the glorious Missouri ethics law.
