NEWS VIDEO - Missouri pro-Obama prosecutors will prosecute you for "lies" about Obama
kmov ^ | 9-26-08

WATCH THIS FRIGHTENING VIDEO FROM KMOV

This video should shake you to your core. Obama supporters in Missouri are blatantly announcing that law enforcement will be used to prosecute you if you are part of campaign ads that tell, in their opinion, "lies" about Barack Obama.

And we thought the Clinton machine was bad? This is frightening. When will the lies be prosecuted about Palin, McCain, and Limbaugh? The answer is, they won't. This is how a free republic is taken down. When will freerepublic be taken down?

Subject: Proper use of Criminal Justice Resources

Comment:
Why are you threatening to use government resources to prosecute political enemies?

I saw a video tape on WMOV featuring you as a member of the so-called “Obama Truth Squad” saying you would officially “remind voters that Barack Obama is a Christian who wants to cut taxes for anyone making under $250,000 per year.”

Are you doing this on government time, using government money? How is this a part of the function of government for the city of St. Louis?

Your mission statement says: “To pursue justice for all citizens within the highest standards of ethical behavior and professionalism.”

Your quote:

“We want to keep this campaign focused on issues. We don’t want people to get distracted - Missourians don’t want to be distracted - by these divisive character attacks. So we’re here to respond to any character attacks, to set the record straight...” Your comments were cut off at that point.

“Missourians don’t want to be distracted” - so you’ve decided that you speak for all of Missouri? No one is allowed to counter the claims of Mr. Obama? I think you said it right the first time, “*WE* DON’T WANT PEOPLE TO GET DISTRACTED...” You, as a government official with police power behind you, will use your authority to track down dissent and put an end to it, with official authority, I assume.

If I were your supervisor I’d have your resignation on my desk first thing in the morning for making a statement like this to the press while in your official capacity. This and the actions of like-minded sheriffs and other members of law enforcement are completely outside the bounds of your duties and authority. It isn’t the job of attorneys or sheriffs to be concerned about what individuals say about a political candidate they favor, unless the First Amendment was overturned last night. And have you extinguished violent crime in St. Louis and now can use police powers to harass law-abiding citizens for exercising God-given rights our forefathers died to protect?

How do you justify participating in a so-called “Obama Truth Squad” in your capacity as an attorney for the City of St. Louis? Is it your opinion that your official duties include hunting down political opponents who dare to criticize Mr. Obama, using the power and resources of the City of St. Louis? May we please see that your job description so we can determine if this is part of what you are paid to do? Do your supervisors and constituents approve of your using government resources and time to go after political opponents? Is it now the policy of the City of St. Louis to intervene in civil matters (unless libel is now a criminal offense in Missouri, if so, all the more reason never to move there!) when your office represents CRIMINAL matters?

The video has put a deep fear of government into my heart. I thought we’d never have a police state, but I guess we are on the way to having one now. To think that a senator campaigning for president has the power to wield police power against his enemies. This isn’t the United States I was raised in.

I work for a company based in St. Louis. Thank heavens I do not live there. Hugo Chavez, you have some warm friends waiting your advice in the office of the City of St. Louis.

Are you going to prosecute me for writing to you? I am almost afraid to send this to you, for fear of government retribution. You have most of the guns and money, after all.

“I think an economic boycott of St. Louis is in order here. There are clearly far better places to visit than this.”

Hello Emerson Process Management. Are you reading this? Foxboro, Masoneilan, Honeywell, Siemens are knocking on my door looking for business.

Case in point, I refuse to do business with San Franscisco corporations.

0BAMA introduced the following bill to prohibit deceptive practices in Federal elections:

S.1975 Deceptive Practices and Voter Intimidation Prevention Act of 2005

Should he and his "truth squad" be prosecuted for voter intimidation?

PENALTY- Any person who violates paragraph (1) shall be fined not more than $100,000, imprisoned not more than 1 year, or both.'.

Would this penalty be for each infraction?

let's see...

There are about seven million voters in Missouri X $100,000 per voter -- that would be about $700 billion.

So....what would happen if I stood in front of their offices with a sign that read, "Obama is an *sshole!"

I could easily claim to be a member of the McCain campaign (although I'm not, officially.)

See, the problem is, we already have proof that the Obama campaign planted lies about Palin. That's the problem we're dealing with over and over again with these people. They are criminals and like all criminals they will accuse us of the very things they themselves are doing.

It IS very serious.

The Democratic Party is a CRIMINAL organization - a communist criminal organization.

They have gotten away with their massive crimes and have now moved out into total anti-freedom efforts out in the open - this Missouri attempt is going to spread to all other states run by Democrats....states and cities run by Democrats will copy this if it is not stopped NOW.

And it won’t be.

The DEMS KNOW THEIR TIME OF FULL POWER IS ALMOST HERE - they are acting on that power NOW because who is going to stop them???

No one.

These words posted here are nothing to these thugs.

America as we have known it is O V E R.

Who is the Governor of Missouri? If he is a DEM - forget it.

What response have you gotten?

I don’t understand why MO and not other states. That is yet to come perhaps.

I was going to add McCain and Palin should make an issue of this kind of thing. Unfortunately how good is McCain’s record on free speech? He coauthored that lousy campaign finance “reform” law. He also said at one time he thought there should be limits on negative campaigning, even through legislation. That was pretty shocking. Though of course he has had all kinds of mud slung at him in this campaign and has not tried any legal maneuvers to shut down the other side, as far as I know.

With the economic meltdown gloom and doom about - maybe the Dems think that people, McCain, the President, the country is too preoccupied to even care about this outright nazi like action by Missouri officials.

They are right.

The dumbed down masses are being reduced to the state of just caring about daily sustenance so that the communist party criminals can rule over us. It worked in the USSR. It will work here.

Just amazing.

I never thought I would live to see this day - but it has come.

And withhold the salaries of any official who doesn’t enforce “the truth” for both parties - this is unreal.

One wonders: what is their definition of a lie?

That Jim Johnson helped select Joe Biden as VP?

That Obama had consulted with Franklin Raines?

That the Obama campaign's finance chair Penny Pritzker led one of the filed banks that helped contribute to the sub-prime mess, costing us $460M?

That Obama has close ties to American terrorist Wm. Ayers, and headed up his Chicago Annenberg Challenge?

What may have seemed like hyperbole just a year ago, looms frighteningly close to reality today.

How can they use ethics in gov? If an individual is not in gov how can they violate the law. Can’t wait until they pyhsically hurt someone enforcing it. Why doesn’t Blunt just come out and say he’ll immediately pardon anyone accused of it.
