Seems to me most people have already made up their minds. I know I have. I already know McCain is a squishy moderate and Obama is a Marxist. Obama is going to try to act like a centrist, and McCain doesn’t need to act—he is one.
Anyone who votes for Obama is either hugely uninformed or outright un-American. Obama is not even American. Yeah, yeah, he’s an American citizen (I think), but his goals are entirely un-American. He’s got more in common with Chavez than a typical American in flyover country.
As for McCain, I’m voting for him because of Governor Palin, and I hope he wins. Just like Bush, he’ll probably do OK on a few issues, but he’ll sell us out otherwise. Be prepared to go to battle against our own president as soon as he’s elected. It’s not hopeless. We beat Bush down on immigration amnesty, and we can (MUST) do the same thing with McCain.
That’s my two cents...

I wonder if McCain will take the opportunity, with the entire nation watching, to challenge Obama to weekly townhall debates (again)? If so, I can’t imagine there would be any way that Obama could refuse without looking like a complete p*ssy.
The only people to really watch these "dog and pony" shows that are anything else but a Debate are those whose minds are already made up and those than can a make a buck (the media).
There may be a few "true un-decided voters out there but not many.
As it has been historically done, debates are just another part of the political process that has been bastardized by the media and the political parties.
Of course that may be only just my opinion!
Obama “call me if you need me”
How about estimates of how many “uhs”, “ers” and “ums” Obama utters during the course of the debate.
Or how long it takes your spouse to fall asleep while Obama rambles.
