I’m not certain if this reflects the way the American people think BEFORE or AFTER the first debate.
Way too close.
We have work to do!
the numbers do not look clear on breakdown....Virginia going Blue....very doubtful....
Well, McCain hasn’t been campagining and he hasn’t effectively fought back against Obama’s smears. The economy is always going to hamper a republican. The good news is that the polls are flexiable and will fluctuate between now and election day. Didn’t one poll have Kerry up by 4 on election day in 2004?
McCain needs to go negative and go negative hard.
Almost certainly before. Not enough time to do any really polling post debate.
I think McCain will take Pennsylvania and will put him over 270. Hillary cleaned Obama’s clock in PA and many of her supporters are voting for McCain, according to some sources.
Obama’s foreign policy is a RUSE.
It is a PROJECTION intended to obscure his REAL intentions.
Obama is a totalitarian collectivist, he is a COMMUNIST.
If the American people knew this, his numbers would be below 30%
The American people do not know this, and Obama ans his goon squad are squashing every attempt to reveal it.
They really have Virginia as a toss up. But latest polls have been trending Obama.
There, fixed for honesty.
Iowa...shame on you.....thought you people were the good people of the mid west...but oh well....
Why isnt McCain exposing him? Enough with this ‘my friend the senator from Illinois’ crap. The libs are seriously going to destroy this nation - if they are not stopped here we can expect a radically different nation in four years. McCain and the rest of the GOP better be ready to be brought up on charges of dissent in the future because the dems are ready to change the constitution forever.
sadly - Obama LOOKS good.
He SOUNDS good while he lies.
There are alot of people out there who care more about style.
If you flip Virginia and New Hampshire to McCain the vote goes to 269 apiece. Scary. In my opinion Pennsylvania is the key to this election. I’m convinced it can be turned. We just have to watch out for all of the districts in Philadelphia who have 110% participation.
With all due respect to the good people of Iowa, it's called "Ethanol Subsidies Ueber Alles"
Too many voters do not understand what would happen in a B.H. Obama White House.
That’s for sure:
Dem Gov, Dem Senator, soon to be another Dem Senator, Northern VA is now the border for the Northeast.
Old Dominion is seriously trending that way.
Heres the actual RealClearPoltics Map, showing actual poll results:
Keep in mind they are using discredited polls such as ABC etc, and also please keep in mind these polls have never been 100% accurate and have even exceeded their margins of error. When they are right its probably more from luck than anything else.
It’s really inconceivable to me that the American people can be so stupid.
The fact is that whoever is elected in 2008 is going to inherit a nightmarish mess that perhaps no president can survive.
O, how I wish that the people who want socialism would move to some socialist country, and leave us who love freedom to pursue capitalism and liberty!
he looks like a skinny jerk in a suit....
Hey, everybody, click back on 1984. It’s fun.
Its hard to argue issues with the Dem raw emotional “feelings”..believe me I have tried with Libs, their eyes just glaze over.
and you question if he is a communist?
Obama is in trouble in NoVA, he won’t get what Kerry got in 2004.
“O, how I wish that the people who want socialism would move to some socialist country, and leave us who love freedom to pursue capitalism and liberty!”
There’re too many to choose from. Canada and Cuba are right next door, and Europe’s full of em. How about Zimbabwe? It’s exotic.
Put Palin out there campaigning PLEASE
And let her be Sarah! THAT’s the person America fell in love with!
to us he does.
Unfortunately - I know I’m going to hear my mother say “Obama looked good and he sounded good”
It makes me sick to say it but they should follow Clinton’s example and buy on hour on Lifetime and televise a townhall meeting without the media bias.
Let McCain and Palin talk directly with voters and there might be a chance, otherwise...hope we can survive 4 years of BO
IMO, they are the most dangerous entity in this nation.
Why is that I wonder? I’m curious.
For the record...I still expect McCain to win 40 -45 states.
I think Carter was also ahead by this much in 1980. Or was that Mondale in 84, or Dukakis in 88, or Bush in 2000, or Bush in 2004?
I been seeing the same crap for 28 years now. Clinton was the best at 43% and 47%. And he was white and got 90% of the black vote. Does anyone in their right mind think that blue collar democrats in PA, Ohio and Michigan are going to vote for Bambi?
I remember last election cycle, someone said if Kerry had 65,000 more Ohio votes he would be President. Hillary won Ohio big. McCain will win Ohio by 200,000 votes easy.
This isn’t going to be close.
look I rarely give to presidential politics but this year I've given what I consider a nice sum....
they must have the money to do this.....
and yes...give Sarah a speech if you have too...get her out there infront of the crowds....
this is McCains to lose no matter what people want to say.....
its RIGHT there McCain...in your grasp....
and I LOVE you for that my friend...
Hope you are right, FRiend.
Personally I think we are screwed either way...
This country is continuing to slide into the Socialism trap...and the Sheeple don't care. Heck, they want it!!
I think we have to face the reality that the economic mess is going to stick on the Republicans up and down the ticket.
We need to get that settled down, give the facts a chance to percolate and then change the subject. Else, we will look a lot like France in 4 years.
..Pennsylvania, NH, VA and possibly CO go red in November
i think they are keeping palin out of it for a reason. not sure why. i’m sure they know what they are doing.
is she too green?
are they coaching her and getting her up to speed?
do they not want her to say something they’ll regret?
is she a secret weapon?
do they want to keep the mystique with the public?
do they not want to overexpose her too early?
I’m bitterly clinging to my patriarchal sky god, my boomsticks and my giant unicycle made out of a big round rock, and voting for the old white guy.
He wouldn't do anything that inflammatory. As a hard core Marxist he will simply gut the elections of any meaning.
The Soviet Union, Cuba, etc, had elections every so often, but of course they were meaningless. This may be the last election in the US that means anything, although the charade will be maintained for appearances' sake, and to forstall violent resistance..
