GOP VP Candidate Sarah Palin To Attend Carson Rally

CARSON, Calif. -- Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will be in Carson for a rally on Oct. 4, according to the Republican Party of Orange County.
The Alaska governor, who has drawn large and enthusiastic crowds around the country, will speak in the 13,000-seat tennis stadium at the Home Depot Center.
At first, Orange County Republican Party members wanted the event to be in Orange County, but an appearance was postponed so Palin could attend the United Nations General Assembly in New York this week.
The Saturday rally will begin at 2 p.m.

Tickets are available by e-mailing california@johnmccain.com., or they can be picked up at McCain campaign offices at 3920 Highland Ave. in Manhattan Beach; 23211 Hawthorne Blvd. in Torrance; and at 550 Deep Valley Drive., Suite 359, in Rolling Hills.

Why let her answer more press questions? The press is on a mission to destroy this woman. She should do more townhall events, but as far as interviews go, I see no point in her dealing with the network or cable news outlets. Joe Biden talks like he sustained a major head injury, and no one is questioning his ability to step in as President if needed. If Palin pronounces ‘nuclear’ wrong, it becomes further proof that she’s in over her head and that she should be nothing more than a stay-at-home mom. No, meeting with the press serves no purpose. We all know who she is and what she stands for. We don’t need to send her in front of a firing squad to score some imaginary points.
Oh darn, at first I thought it was another rally in Carson City, NV. Carson, CA is too far of a drive.

Isn’t Carson an over whelmingly black community near LA?
It looks like Palin will be in CA after all on 10/5. She’ll be near the south end of Interstate 405 in Carson. It’s perfectly located between LA and that one-time bastion of Conservatism: Orange County.
Maybe if we could saw off LA and San Francisco, McCain and Sarah could carry the state.
Think Sarah should go on Jay Leno.

The office that they listed on Highland is not very far from where I live. I might stop by and pick up a ticket tomorrow.
It would be great if some of the Freepers could meet up afterwards for coffee or something...like some have gone to the Reagan Library and then gone to eat. Just a thought.
It is, but there is also Hispanic, and Home Depot Center is right on or next to the campus of Cal State Dominguez Hills, as well as the home of the onetime MLS champion LA Galaxy. I believe it is that stadium where the rally will be held.
I'm planning on being there - my church is not far from the stadium, and my dad lives literally right across the street. (south).
