The Only Poll That Counts; McCain 82%, Obama 16%

The Only Debate Poll That Counts; McCain 82%, Obama 26%

The debate was broadcast on many different stations last night. NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, etc. However, it is widely acknowledged that all of these stations are unapologetically and firmly left-leaning organizations who are, and have been from the beginning, “in the tank” for Obama. Hence, their viewership is similarly inclined. Any poll of the viewers of these “anti-news” organs is going to be artificially skewed and irrelevant.

There is another news agent, however. Its viewership is remarkably balanced; there was a figure publicized just two days ago on its afternoon chat show which informed that its viewers broke down as follows: 36% Republican, 30% Democrat, 30% Independent. This same news organ also happens to enjoy a viewership which, in terms of raw numbers, exceeds all the other lefty cable “news” stations combined.

This is Fox News. And while even I at times bridle at their unnecessary desire to seem “fair and balanced” (there are plenty of Liberal whore stations out there to tell the twisted Dimocrat side, give it a break!), their shortcomings are not the focus of this treatment.

Their viewers are the focus here. It is huge, and it is balanced across the political spectrum.

After the debate concluded, Fox invited its’ viewers to vote on who they thought won. They voted McCain 82%, Obama 16%. There is no more authoritative, thorough or meaningful representation of America’s opinion of who won, and it really wasn’t even close. Really.

Enough of this "let's try to seem fair" crap, we're fighting lying, evil, cheating scum. Only the flame of truth can burn them.

Fri. before leaving work, we briefly mentioned the debate that night. One engineer looks at me and says affirmatively, FOX is Republican... I just walked away. But I should’ve asked for proof.

I conducted an audience debate and review of the presidential debate on a college campus in Texas. The audience of about 50 people thought McCain had won by a 2 to 1 margin. For people who said their minds were changed by the debate, those changed toward McCain outnumbered those changed toward Obama by more than 3 to 1.

One person who spoke in the audience section said that she came expecting to support Obama but when he relied so much on criticism without saying what he himself would do with these problems, she was turned off of Obama and toward McCain.

All Libs believe that any fair representation is anti-Dimocrap, pro-GOP, because if it is fair and honest, then it's going to make them look bad.

They are bad!

They are ignorant and evil; craven reprobates. When they are reported on honestly, they look like the filth that they are.

Period.

We will hear how badly McCain did, and how Palin should withdraw, and how we don't have a chance. LMAO

The only effect this garbage will have is that when McCain wins, The Dims will be CONVINCED that the MEAN REPUBLICANS (!) stole another election that they really won.

Imbeciles. They actually eat their own sh*t.

That’s the American Idol approach. Did they use any process to prevent people from voting multiple times? I remember a few years back that was an issue for American Idol.

What this poll tells us is that only half of the Democrats who watched this on Fox voted for Obama. 30% were Democrat viewers, only 16% voted for Obama.

What is striking about this statistic is that it implies that a significant number of Democrats will likely vote McCain this time out. Hillary lovers, those leery of a black/Arab president, and so on. Yet another percentage of the Dim base are far-left loonies who actually believe that the Hussein Kool-Aid is the best beverage for America.

The numbers work, in that they seem to agree with the empirical data on how much of the Dem's voter base actually are far-left loony "Shrieking Howard Dean" moonbats.

do conservatives play such games? I’d expect it from ron paul supporters not mccain (remember the primary debate polls?)

It's like freeping an on-line poll, except you dial a phone instead of clicking a radio button. I think the American Idol controversy went a step beyond freeping and involved mechanical calls.

well either way it’s not very scientific. you’d expect fox news viewers to be more for mccain

Saying that McCain won the debate is not the same as saying someone will vote for McCain in the election. A lot of DUmmies were upset with Obama for not going after McCain harder in the debate, but it doesn’t mean they are voting for McCain.

The result speaks for itself. Although I think at the end of the day the debate will benefit McCain unless financial matters overtake its effect.

Bush won 90% of foxnews viewers. Don’t get me wrong, its the only station to watch if you want real news, but thats hardly representative of the entire electorate.

You just reminded me about the networks trying to call the last election for Kerry waaaaaay before the polls closed in the Western States.

It’ll probably be broadcast that ‘Bamie won before the polls close in the heartland this year.

Get ready for it.

Bush won 90% of foxnews viewers.

Yes he did, the last time (2004) at a point where Fox's viewership was 64% GOP, 22% Indie, 18% Dem. Fox's demographics have evolved over the years, as has their programming bent.

Despite being bigger than all the other cable newsies combined, Fox have actively gone after a larger share of the Dem & Indie voter crowd by also airing stories more favorable to those political persuasions. I'm sure you've seen it over the years, I surely have. And, it has worked.

And by the way, Bush did get 90% from Fox in 04... and he won the election. Good point.

No, the only poll that counts is the Fox (or Zogby) polls.

The only poll that matters is on November 4. A distinction with a difference.

I was going to say the same thing... it's far more likely, based upon the inherent proclivities of the individuals you're dealing with, that the Dems' numbers are the ones most often skewed by fake, repeat voting.

Just watch C-Span any give day during the morning call-in show. Over half of the scum-sucking vermin who call in on the "Republican" line proceed to rip Bush, McCain, Palin, and the GOP as a whole.

Obviously a Dem Troll pretending to be a Republican who's VERY uppset (!?!) that Palin has given new life back to the GOP.... u-huh, sure.

You will almost NEVER hear somebody call in on the Dem line and pull that stunt. While it is surely less accurate to so stipulate within the corrupting sphere of the D.C. Beltway influences, by and large, Republicans are far more honorable and concerned with integrity than are Democrats. Most Democrats, on the other hand, like to fondle their own nephews and cornhole the family dog. This really is a fact, I read it on the internet... :-)

Your college focus group result is interesting. And it seems to mirror similar local groups throughout the country. Newspapers in WA, PA and FL had their own groups w/ similar results. There may be more that I don't know of.

I tend to believe these results far more than media interactive polling done right after the debate. I think the "average Joe" saw McCain more presidential, sincere and in control and Obama more as a pompous angry blowhard.

Barring any other game-changing events, McCain will have closed the polling gap somewhat by the middle of this coming week.

Get ready for it.

And get ready for having to scrub the entire country of ballots for dead people, "George Jetson," Leon Spinks, Muhammed Ali, all of whom have at least 100 polling places in the U.S. where Acorn currently has them registered to vote.

This is what I'm talking about... these guys aren't just reprobate and evil a little, they lie and cheat and twist and distort EVERYTHING because they are tools of Satan, the Father of all Lies.

Fighting the influences of evil with everything you've got will still sometimes fail, but open the door to it willingly and, within a month, your own Mom won't recognize you. That's why I make the (tongue in cheek) "family dog" comment above here. It's so close to true that it's frightening.

Consider further that we're discussing this within days of Ahmedinejad (I'm a Dim Nut Job) threatening to blow Israel off the face of the earth even as the Chinese lobby the UN HARD for a "one world currency..."

... those of you (us!) out there who read and believe our Bibles, strap in, it's gonna be a helluva ride!

People who watched the debate believe that McCain won.

People who watched MTV or HBO Friday night, and only saw the MSM "analysis" believe that Obama won.

Which group will have the most voters on election day???
