BY ABDON M. PALLASCH Staff Reporter/apallasch@suntimes.com Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama's relationship with convicted influence peddler Tony Rezko officially arrived as a national story Saturday: It became a punchline on "Saturday Night Live."
In a takeoff on Friday's presidential debate, the John McCain character criticized Obama's support for federal earmarks, including an $8.1 million earmark called the "Tony Rezko hush fund."

Why is this news or even satire? We're talking Chicago here.
SNL: doing the job of CNN! Something’s not right about all this.
We hope where there’s smoke...there’s fire. Chicago Tribune article posted yesterday has some interesting facts about this Rezko guy now singing to the Feds before his sentencing on Oct. 28. Should be interesting and lets hope this is the October surprise!

Let’s “hope” SNL is getting close to the truth factor in making satire of this very well known relationship of corruption with Rezko and Obama. Stay tuned....will see what happens but from the Chicago Trib article yesterday....looks like Rezko is second thinking about taking the years for the Illinois Gov and Obama “shady dealings”....will see what happens.
And 95% of viewers said “huh?”, 4% said “Dirty politics!” and 1% said “Go get him!”.
“And 95% of viewers said huh?, 4% said Dirty politics! and 1% said Go get him!.
As long as that 1% is the Feds, I say, go for it. It seems common knowledge everyone “thinks” Obama is guilty and involved...but from polling it is ignored. To put a man of low character in the most highest office of the land is scary. But even more scarier is the lack of concern by most of the people. God help us.
I thought the skit was lame right down to the fake ears on Obama impersonator.
Anyone have a video link to this?
Good thing SNL isn’t filmed in Missouri.
Nope. The 1% is the very few intelligent conservatives that actually watch the show. The Feds are somewhere in the other 2 groups.
This is not an attempt to hijack this thread, but I went looking for a video of this and came across something else that’s pretty funny. I don’t know if it was meant this way or not, but it just shows how folks spin things.

Yeah, it’s scary funny....
