I just emailed McCains senate office as well. I asked him to encourage all the republican representatives and senators not to support this plan and for him to do the same. I told him that if he and the republicans can come up with a plan that the American people can support they will all be winners in November. I also encouraged them to get out there and let the public know that the democrats are responsible for this mess starting with the community reinvestment act, and have continued with more and more irresponsible legislation and actions since then. If we all do this maybe we can make a difference tomorrow and beyond.

btw, Sean Hannity said that McCain warned about this three years ago, which is why I wonder why McCain doesn’t criticize the Dems more now.

My Dem congresswoman voted NO, and I was glad to be one of the many who called her.
