In this letter sent this week to TV station managers from Obama campaign general counsel Bob Bauer, obtained by ABC News, the Obama campaign argues that a TV ad by the National Rifle Association should not air.
"Unlike federal candidates, independent political organizations do not have a 'right to command the use of broadcast facilities,'" Bauer writes. "Moreover, you have a duty 'to protect the public from false, misleading or deceptive advertising.'"
The Obama campaign takes issue with an ad called "Hunter," pointing out that claims in the ad were called "false" by Factcheck.org, and was given three Pinocchios by the Washington Post's "Factchecker."

hope, change, not politics as usual....
Now we have his Truth Squads, and apparently you can't even ask a simple question some places without getting arrested.
Since when does factcheck.org control our elections? Obama needs to sit down and shut his Marxist pie hole!
These TV stations should tell Bauer to stuff it. Hussein 0bama lies all the time on paid TV ads.
“Who sponsors factcheck.org?” - Annenberg
I just wrote my check. I’m mailing it tomorrow.
The Annenberg Political Fact Check is a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania. The APPC was established by publisher and philanthropist Walter Annenberg in 1994 to create a community of scholars within the University of Pennsylvania that would address public policy issues at the local, state, and federal levels.
The APPC accepts NO funding from business corporations, labor unions, political parties, lobbying organizations or individuals. It is funded primarily by the Annenberg Foundation.

Senator Obama was the first Chairman of the Board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, which is a Division of the Annenberg Foundation.
Factchecker.org which they says is non-partisan, is actually funded and operated by the Annennberg Foundation. The same one that funded the Annennberg Challenge with Obama and Bill Ayers that wasted millions with no improvement in the schools. The bios of staff and researchers are all liberal persons closely aligned with other Annennberg groups. Too close an association to Obama to ever be trusted as fair.
Dis storey has many stinks too.

Fairfax, VA-Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign has sent threatening letters to news agencies in Pennsylvania and Ohio to stop airing ads exposing his anti-gun record sponsored by the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF).
The kicker? NRA-PVF’s Ohios ads have not yet begun running.
Barack Obama and his campaign are terrified of the truth, declared Chris W. Cox, Chairman of NRA-PVF. Sen. Obama’s statements and support for restricting access to firearms, raising taxes on guns and ammunition and voting against the use of firearms for self-defense in the home are a matter of public record. NRA-PVF will make sure that everyone knows of Obama’s abysmal record on guns and hunting.
The Obama campaign sent cease and desist letters to news outlets in Pennsylvania and Ohio, denouncing the ads and demanding their removal from the airwaves. All stations where NRA-PVF has purchased or plans to purchase ads have been provided with documented evidence of Sen. Obama’s anti-gun record.

NRA-PVF Response Memo
NRA-PVF Response to Washington Post fact check
Barack Obama would be the most anti-gun president in our nation’s history. That’s the truth, concluded Cox. NRA-PVF has the facts on our side. No amount of running from or lying about his record and then intimidating news outlets in the hope of deceiving American gun owners and hunters is going to work. Those strong arm tactics may work in Chicago, but not in Pennsylvania and Ohio, and not as long as NRA-PVF has anything to say about it.

Yeah, but they won’t live long when their own food riots and home invasions for survival start to implode the big cities. Pitty them, but forget them.
One of the finest speeches I’ve ever heard regarding the sovereignty of We The People came from Wayne Lapierre. And an armed society is a peaceful society.
