I can see that he wants to be the moral, if not the actual, leader of the world. I can’t see that he wants to destroy us. Okay, maybe he wants to destroy us a little, bring us down to everyone else’s size. But he doesn’t want us destroyed completely.
McCain was on Fox & Friends this morning, I have tried to locate a transcript.

McCain said on Fox this morning that congress need to pass this bill and ignore what rhe voters wants bwcause the voters do not understand the issues.
How do you destroy a country “just a little”? With the fragile situation of the US economy and foriegn policy, just a little is too much.

There are plenty of once-mighty nations out there still puttering along; look at Europe.
The thing that totally baffles me is...how in the heck we have ended up with the two candidates we have.
