THat is commonsense and somewhat comforting, but I still say,you don’t take a knife to a gunfight-you pull your own weapon, aim true and shoot straight. We all know that NObama’s no genius. He’s a thug and an opportunist.I don’t want John McCain to change, just not play it so nice-nice at times, you know? For instance, at the debates, I think McCain should have looked Obama straight in the eye and called him on everything he said that was wrong and told him exactly why.Although he answered Obama’s points, for the most part, I was waiting for him to-well,to POUNCE! I know John McCain has it in him. He’s tough. He’s experienced. He’s a good man.He should convey that more,I think, that’s all.

” Obama the MONDAY MORNING QUARTERBACK....

sits back watches and reads all financial advisors....

THEN CALLS IT HIS PLAN....

i just need to puke after this....i cant take anymore Obama”

Well stated. He’s straddling the fence. People can’t see that this type of leadership is not what we need in a president.

He’s a true professor who can only lecture. Proof, why didn’t the DEm’s who he is now the alledged leader of the party for not approve this bill ?????

The only one who is pointing this out forcefully is Sean Hannity.

Sean even fingered Barney Franks own committee members who voted against it.

What hypocrisy ................

” Friday, the WH meeting blew-up because McCain said, “The House Republicans are right on this issue”, leading to a screaming hissy fit by Obama.

McCain will seize this issue.”

And to the best of my knowledge we didn’t hear this until yesterday....................

This should have been front and center before the vote so the general public could know who was actually leading instead of following, and how the anointed one couldn’t come to a compromise when he was in the middle of the action.

I don’t think he realizes that he could be in Bushes center seat in that meeting and would have to make that call..........

” Raise the insurance level? Gee, big help. ‘Whoopie’.

Backdrop: the great Chicago fire. There’s Obama, seeing people without homes, faces covered with soot. He tries to sell them insurance.”

And he adds, we will tax the rich to get it for you free. Not realizing no one is rich anymore because the city doesn’t exist anymore.............

If I have $500,000 and I keep my money spread throughout five banks, each account holding $100,000, why would changing the cap to $250,000 be beneficial?

Other than keeping my money in two banks instead of five, is there a real difference?

If you have $500,000 in just one bank, and it is in a joint account, it is automatically insured now for $200,000. If you have 3 children and put a "Pay on Death" provision on the account, naming those children, the account is now automatically insured for $500,000. You don't even have to have it in separate banks in such a scenario as this.

For an IRA account, the insurance is even more. As you point out in your original statement, there are several protections available already, with the "air in your tires" recommendation of Obama.

He’s counting on the uneducated to not ask that question.

Problem is that if any of us have that amount of money we would logically come to the same correct conclusion you have made.

Barry is appealing to the handout crowd, and I’m doing something for the little guy who isn’t a multi millionaire.

I seem to recall McCain did ask him about his definition of rich in the debate, but he didn’t respond, and the moderator didn’t followup.

John needs to get more specific about his real tax voting record, and the $42,000 earner impact..............

I agree wholeheartedly. We need to take the rats out before they do any more harm. But McCain and Bush are much the same when it comes to street fighting.
