Because our nominee wont take his gloves off and ko the chosen one! In fact he doesnt even have to, if they would let palin be palin and let her loose to hammer the man child the public would respond. She connects to the average voter more than anyone else in this campaign

We are freaking out because the second Hussein has an incredible base of supporters and millions of dollars from the middle east and other foreign nations that are attempting to buy the presidency.

"...I agree obama up in the national polls is no big deal, kerry was up gore was up dukakis was up 17 pts..."

But the MSM makes the overturning of an election a "Cause" for America's enemies.

Thanks for the reminder to all of us.

My prescience aligns exactly with yours.

It is impossible to believe that the
brave little human experiment with liberty
is doomed to die so absurdly as an obamanation would be.

The pollsters need only crank in more Dem respondents
“to reflect greater turnout”
to show their Fuehrer ahead.

I think you are a loser that puts you own pet ideology above the interests of this great country and have zero respect for you.

Dear fellow Freepers, it appears that conservatism is now a "pet ideology" held by "losers." And let's not forget that we're "extremists" and "purists" who are allegedly colluding with the Big Government freaks in the Democrats, nevermind the fact that the folks saying such terrible things are willingly backing a Big Government RINO who is well-known for reaching across the aisle to sponsor liberal, Marxist legislation with his Democrat buddies.

The only one colluding with Democrats is McCain himself. Perhaps you don't remember amnesty or carbon cap-and-trade or campaign finance reform...and it's apparent that McCain's idiotic support for the recent failed bailout hasn't sunk in for you yet.

No, folks, we need to be "pragmatic" and surrender to the Democrats. We need to "cut and run" when it comes to defending our principles. /sarc

Reply with something snarky and I’ll dispatch a black helicopter to pick you up and dispatch you to a kamp.

Threats, eh? That's not very conservative of you! Actually, it's something that usually liberals and totalitarians on the left side of the aisle tend to do.

Because when we don't freak out, McCain does something stupid, and when we do freak out, McCain usually sacks up.

Did Obama benefit from the ridiculous overconfidence and arrogance that caused him to fritter away the summer in Europe and to pick Joe Biden as his Vice President?

Did McCain benefit from the nervous nellies in the Republican party that caused him to alter his stance on immigration and to pick Sarah Palin instead of Joe Lieberman or Lindsey Graham?

If McCain wins in November, thank a Republican who freaked out.

Why doesn’t the PUMA voters get discussed - it’s like they don’t exist and yet there are ALOT of them and even if only 10% vote for McCain, if there ARE actually 18 million Hillary voters, then that’s 1.8 million votes for McCain and 1.8 million votes against Barack Hussein Obama! These are NO SMALL NUMBERS, folks...

with the help of PRAYER

There is a lot to be said for the above. God does hear us. With that said, I am fairly new too and darned glad to read this vanity. It echos my own thoughts. I took a little time out in Key West and took heart that I only found a handful of "O" yard signs and bumper stickers. Here in So FL, it is the same, not nearly the volume of Dem stuff as in 04.

Tomorrow, I go back to work for McCain/Palin with gusto and will continue through the election. Sure, there is a chance that we might lose. But I will do my very best to make sure that we come out on top and invite everyone to do the same. Our Victory offices are warm comfortable places filled with people who boost our spirits.

Repeat after me: " I will not let (Obama, MSM, Polls, Naysayers, etc) ruin my day" My Dad gave me this one...except that he substituted my Mom's name for the options in the middle. That is why they have been married over 50 years.

FOX News/Rasmussen Poll: Obama Gains Ground in Battleground States

And don't forget it is perceived by many casual observers that the economy problem IS the fault of Republicans, and as hard as it is to believe, that Obama is thought to be stronger on economic issues. It's imperative that this perception is quickly and decisively turned on its head starting with Thurs night's debate.

Oh how typical! You ping a bunch of your “buddies” because you are a coward who can't stand by yourself.

You are an IDIOT! A functioning, political IDIOT! The greatest "EFFECTIVE" conservative of my lifetime was Ronald Wilson Reagan. I remember when IDIOTS like YOU, badmouthed him continually during his two terms, because he was not "pure enough". IDIOTS! If you had you way, he would never have been elected. NO REAFGAN REVOLUTION! NOTHING BUT MISERABLE WHINING! For the record, I am probably more "conservative in theory" than you, scuttlebutt.

Obama is going to lose this election. Handily. And this isn't just some pollyanna post, it's the truth

Ha, ha. You're joking right?

Anybody who thinks McCain is going to win handily is smoking something illegal

Obama has the apparatus set up in many swing states to commit massive voter fraud. He's a Marxist, what else can you expect?

Not a well known fact, but all of his state "get out the vote" machines are separate entities from the DNC. They can operate outside of the box without the "dem" party being involved

The Black vote is going to be massive and in complete disarray which will result in multiple lawsuits claiming "disenfranchisement"

No, I think McCain in the long run will win, but it will be a fight to the death. McCain vs Obama, voter fraud, the Media, Soros, and lying sleazy liberals of every stripe

You ping a bunch of your “buddies” because you are a coward who can't stand by yourself.

No, I ping folks so they can see what I post.

You are an IDIOT! A functioning, political IDIOT!

You don't even try to defend your own choice. Instead, you attack me and start the name-calling, despite the fact that I had said nothing on this thread to antagonize you and despite the fact that I had not even been talking to you in the first place.

For the record, I am probably more "conservative in theory" than you, scuttlebutt.

Bailouts for Big Business and trashing the rule of law through amnesty for illegals are not conservative.

So, so true. How could McCain support the bailout? Does he have an original Conservative thought? Why can’t he pick up the phone and talk to Newt - for example?

that is why it's so hard for me to believe these polls. They say that about 50% of Hillary voters won't vote Obama.

So how can McCain be behind in the polls.

Turn out voters and VOTE!!!

But I like it that he is, it makes the nut jobs feel good. They're a little less hateful then.
