Can she be replaced? If so, how? Disgusting.

Well, we all know one thing...Biden will be telling her she’s clean and articulate.

VP debate moderator Ifill releasing pro-Obama book

Palin should at least be briefed on the book.

And if not yet available, she should slip in a "throw-away"
remark to Ifill...wishing her good luck on sales of her soon-to-be
released hagiography of Obama.
(meaning something of a loving portrait of a man Ifill thinks
is some sort of saint).

If the debate goes off as planned, that's a pointed comment Palin
can make (in a friendly manner) to expose Ifill as an Obamamaniac.

Palin MUST pull of the debate if a Pro Obama Hack who stands to gain millions from a “Let us Worship our Dear Leader” rag if BO is elected.

This is a serious conflict of interest.

What can we do? Outrageous.

Question for Biden: “What are you and glorious leader going to do to help Americans get free health care?”

Question for Palin: “Coming from a frozen state thousands of miles away with a tiny population and none of the urban problems that real Americans face, how can you possibly claim that you understand the needs of blacks and Jews?”

I am getting disgusted with McCain's wimpiness.

Ironically, Obama is right in one respect when he says that Bush policies and McCain policies are the same; they both are perfectly willing to let the media kick the snot out of them without so much as a whimper for them to back off. It's just stunning to me that someone like McCain, who has been around for so long, still hasn't figured out that the media is not his friend.

That's perfect. But I can tell you how the MSM would spin it:

"Ifill is a respected professional journalist..."

"Sarah Palin injected race into the campaign by accusing Gwen Ifill..."

"Palin resorts to rightwing hate tactics to deflect criticism of her abysmal performance..."

We can only hope that they have some staffer who read your post and will slip it to Gov. Palin.

If they don’t, Palin should ask this lady how her book is coming along and if she’s still on track to have it complete by inaugeration day.

“Can she be replaced?”

We should demand that Ifill be replaced with Rush. That would be fair, don’t you think?

What if Governor Palin asks her how she’s coming with her book and wishes her well at the beginning of the debate? That might play well at the outset.

Perhaps they could have a scrolling marquis across the bottom of the screen promoting Ms. Ifill’s book.

That's perfect.

You're being much too kind.
It was just an amateur suggestion...

That's perfect. But I can tell you how the MSM would spin it:

Sadly, you are very correct regarding this sort of cover
the MSM would instantly erect for Ifill/Obama.

I don't understand what is the big deal.
Mr. Biden and Mrs. Palin both still need to perform during the debate. I don't care if the Chairman of the Obama Glee club was 'moderating' the debate - both parties need to perform. And unlike an 'interview' (a la, of the Charles Gibson and Katie Curic mode), the moderator has to ask both parties the same questions. Mrs. Palin will do fine. And I'm sure Mr. Biden will be good for a few chuckles.

The real danger is the near unanimity of the post-debate talking panel, and what the newspapers write the next day. Regardless of the outcome they'll be parroting about how wonderful Joe was, and how Mrs. Palin was an embarrassment. That is a lot more frustrating than the moderator du jour...

What! Bill Ayers isn’t available? I wonder if she decorates her front yard with Obama signs. Maybe she’ll hitch a ride to the debate on Obama’s plane.
