When does Fox get a seat at the moderator's table? Brit Hume is (or should be) respected in the journalistic community.
Why the HELL did the McCain campaign agree to this?!?!?
The McCain campaign did not agree to the VP debate. The commission on presidential debates works with the DNC/RNC and sets a schedule for all four debates before the first primary. There is no getting out of it.
Great idea, but see my post # 31 for the MSM reaction.
Well if the RNC is that clueless, maybe they should quit hitting me up for cash in the mail every two weeks and spend the postage budget on hiring someone who wants to win.
I think I’m going to stop saying “now, I’ve seen it all” because I’m always wrong...
Whoops:

So you mean to tell me that McCain and the RNC have no say in just who exactly will be moderating these debates? Bull.
Even if this were the case, the McCain campaign can still refuse to have Palin participate unless the moderator is someone other than a vocal Obama cheerleader with a monetary stake in him winning the election. Then again I make it a point to never underestimate the stupidity of the RNC.
It's also about respect, demeanor and attitude. Remember Carole Simpson moderating a 1992 Bush-Clinton debate? She asked a question about education, then turned to Bush and very sarcastically said, "Well, let's ask the education President..."
Hah! Well, you make a good point then.
I have to be honest -- I don't watch the debates. My mind is already made up. And frankly I can't understand the thinking process of someone who is either voting for the Obamanation, or who has been too lazy to figure out for whom they are going to vote (its not like this election is particularly hard, or anything. Empty suited, racist, Marxist vs ... almost anyone). That's the reason why I put more stock in the 'post-game' analysts. These are going to explain to the 'undecided' what they just saw and heard -- and unfortunately, despite the performance of the debate performers (unless Mr. Biden dissolves into a slobbering mass of drool) - most of these 'undecided' will have their impressions made by the talking head analysts which will tell them who 'won'...
But our prayers will be for Mrs. Palin that she makes a clear-cut positive impression on the audience.
LOL! He did that in Beaver, PA a few weeks ago. He was drunk. No MSM coverage. But YouTube should have it.
How biased is Ifill? Regarding Obama whom she works for, siphoning
PBS funding to help him and her book, Ifill the fraud described Resko ,br> as a "financial banker", and she utterly failed to describe what is really going on.
Disgusting that PBS has stooped so low. PBS should be shut down tomorrow.
I look for Palin to explode all over the place again.
I didn’t think Ifill was capable of reading a book, let alone writing one.
Jim Lehrer: "Well of course we are biased and lie on PBS.
Truth means NOTHING to us biased writers at PBS.
We are proud of our DNC kneepads and daily orders.
Our only agenda is to sell Ms. Ifill's upcoming book on our chosen upcoming
President and Messiah, Obama."
Good for you, Spanky. DU is over there to the left.
pffffffffttttt
I am so tired of PBS “journalists” who claim that they know more than the rest of the pack.. on taxpayer money.
Maybe Sarah should begin the debate by congratulating Gwen Ifill on her new Obama book.
I guess Gwen is going to be around so that Palin doesn’t annihilate Biden.
Of course she’ll be totally unbiased about it. Just because you are publishing a book in favor of Obama/Biden, you can still run a debate between the two side without showing any bias at all. Of course.
Of course. Not.
