House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has directed nearly $100,000 from her political action committee to her husband's real estate and investment firm over the past decade, a practice of paying a spouse with political donations that she voted to ban last year.
Financial Leasing Services Inc. (FLS), owned by Paul F. Pelosi, has received $99,000 in rent, utilities and accounting fees from the speaker's "PAC to the Future" over the PAC's nine-year history.

Won’t. See. The. Light. Of. Day.
A joint investigation of Nancy Pelosi and Charlie Rangel would sure save some money.
The Pelosi family has a net worth of nearly $19 million as of 2007
corruption at the highest levels!
This woman is an animal.
She must resign.
A Piker compared to Boxer. Check out his defense contracts;

Wait, could this be the first shot over the bow? She's failed on all major pieces of legislation. Maybe someone or some group has decided she needs to go in order to save the House for the Donkeys?
Odearlord ... is there no end to their thievery???

Pelosi (& the rest of American) need to be reminded of Rangel and she needs to be asked why she's keeping a person who claims he doesn't know the tax code as the chairman of the ways & means.
Well at least it’s the Washington Times and not Pajama News. Might go somewhere.
The *main* purpose of seeking elected office is to enrich the officeholder and those close to him/her, in many cases. Most other cases are mainly for power itself.
If all the corrupt dealings of congressmen were unveiled, it would rival any third-world assembly, imho, in depth, though obviously congressmen would make quite a bit more.
The “nonpartisan” watchdog group mentioned, CREW, is a lefty ant-Bush organization. It’s founder is Joe Wilson’s attorney and has worked for Shumer, Conyers and Biden.

That’s only for Republicans, silly boy! ;)
I’m beginning to have a whole new understanding of the French Revolution. I owe the french an apology. Perhaps they actually knew what they were doing way back then.
The culture of corruption at its worst.
???
bttt
Corruption at the highest level.
This is what SanFranNan calls “draining the swamp.”
A nasty, dried-up crooked manipulator. I really think her unwarranted and partisan comments torpedoed the bailout.
Why is it that everywhere she walks, she leaves a trail of dust?
It's because she has been clinically dead since 1998
Bingo
You can count on it. If the Dims can get away with stashing money in freezers, running male prostitution rings out the basement of their Georgetown condos, and stealing classified documents from the National Archives in their shorts, this is peanuts in comparison.
PAC to the Future is Representative Nancy Pelosi's (D-CA) leadership PAC.

House leaders are doing well financially during this economic slump. Their lucrative investments and, in many cases, well-compensated spouses supplement their House salaries.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., one of the wealthiest members of Congress, and her real estate-magnate husband Paul Pelosi spent between $1 million and $5 million to buy the home they'd been living in on San Francisco's Broadway. They also own a vineyard in St. Helena, Calif., worth between $5 million and $25 million and a town house in Norden, Calif., valued between $1 million and $5 million, according to annual financial disclosures released Monday.
The Pelosis also took in rental income of as much as $5 million on five separate commercial properties in the San Francisco Bay area. Paul Pelosi reported nearly four dozen stock sales and purchases last year, sometimes involving sums up to $1 million or more.
As speaker, Pelosi's government salary is $212,100, about $47,000 higher than virtually everyone else in Congress.
Other senior lawmakers reported hundreds of thousands of dollars in retirement savings, stock and mutual fund investments and no major liabilities.
bump and bookmark
Pelosi is on the MSM list of “acceptable” female politicians, unlike Gov. Palin. This story will go nowhere.
Good lord..everytime I refresh the browser on FR these days...it’s another democrat culture of corruption scandal that the left winged MSM is not reporting!
Thank God for the Washington Times and the few that actually still report the news!
When will this stop??
Don’t insult animals. See is a rancid tuna see you next tuesday.
More, more. Let’s find some other skeletons in her closet!
"For example, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi reported in 2007 that she and her husband have a net worth somewhere between $86 million and negative $9 million. Whether the Speaker of the House is extremely wealthy or on the verge of declaring bankruptcy (or somewhere in between) cannot be determined from her financial disclosure form."
~~~
Those disclosure ranges need DRASTIC revising .. they're purposely frustratingly vague.
Pelosi's husband prefers a low profile - Successful investor has taken care to avoid causing controversy
Snippet:
In fact, Nancy Pelosi's most recent financial disclosure statement shows just how careful Paul Pelosi has been in his investment decisions. Because the federal statements require a politician to give only a range of value for investments, they show the Pelosis' net worth was $14.7 million to $55 million in 2005, ranking them ninth in the House and 17th in the entire Congress.
Lord Acton was right.
Can’t really believe this is in the Washington Times. They really do blame Pelosi for the bill failing yesterday, don’t they?
WHY are you bring this little detail up now!?
Pelosi is very busy right now trying to save the world, laden down the US Tax-paying Pack Animals to gain control of finacial infastructure, and other important business of ‘the people’.
Sheesh! [/sarc]
I bet if you walked by and threw a cup of water on Pelosi, a puff of smoke would go up, and as she sank into the floor she would be saying, “I’m melting, I’m melting, help me I’m melting!”
No?
Every. Magazine. On. The. Newstand.
With the intelligence of a vegetable.
And might I add, the heart of a mineral (a stone, cold rock.)
Guess Do Nothing Nancy has been doing something, stealing from the American People. She should step down or up in her case.
Her talking for avg Americans is like Ted Kennedy talking for women.
Pray for W, Gov Palin and Our Troops
Nicely played. I tried hard to think of a line with mineral in it, but I failed.
“Culture of corruption.”
Oh yes! I can “ hear” the Rush impression !!
BUMP.
I swear, that’s the way I read it in the sidebar.
I’d say I was paranoid. But they really are out to get us.
