For the past two years, The Bulletin has been campaigning for more accountability by parole boards and judges. Numerous articles have documented light sentencing and early paroles for those who have murdered Philadelphia police officers during this period.
What follows is the account given by confidential sources concerning the criminal history and prison records of four murderers of Philadelphia police officers:

Profiling the Cop Killers
For more than two years Michael P. Tremoglie has been writing about lenient judges and lenient parole and nonexistent probation in Philadelphia. He has written that while the politicians in Philly (Democrats) go after guns the real problem is in the justice system.

Philadelphia: the city that gave you Wesley Cook (aka Mumia abu-Jamal). Now they're wondering why their cops are being gunned down like pie plates at a carnival.
This is a job for ... CAPTAIN OBVIOUS!!!!

That’s because in reality Police Unions, well all unions actually, only really care about their dues and fees. Do they occasionally step up to “help out” the individual member, sure, but their motivation is purely monetary.
Union members are suckers, each and every one of them. No exceptions.
