If this farce comes to pass, then the next moderator of a Presidential debate should be Newt Gingrich.
“Several blogs are saying, “As long as she announces her bias of authoring a book at the beginning of the debate.” Perhaps that was her strategy all along...this will be one of the most watched television events of the year, and she gets to announce her new book free of charge...publicity your can’t buy. She wins either way!”
Ms.Ifill has already gotten free publicity on her book and sure it will be in the news right up to the debate tomorrow night. But the big question is “How will Governor Palin do in the debate against Senator Biden?”
Considering Ifill has written a book about Senator Obama she is obviously in favor of the Obama/Biden ticket. Many believe Ifill will show bias, but I am for giving her the chance to prove she can be fair as a moderator. Even if Ifill might have given the questions to Biden so he could study up real good, I am not worried about how Sarah will do in the debate. After all, she is up against the guy who said the following:
“Stand up, Chuck” to someone he claimed was a friend. Senator Biden didn’t know his friend has been confined to a wheelchair for some time?
“Senator Clinton would have been a better choice for Vice President on the Obama ticket.”
“When the stock market crashed in 1929, that FDR got on TV and told the American people how it happened.” (In 1929, there was no TV and Hoover was President!)
Not to worry! Sarah Palin will do just fine up against someone with that kind of brain power!
