Biden uses his Senate Web site to inflict emotional distress on private citizen Pamela Hamill

Inside Edition reports that Senator Joseph Biden, the individual--we won't call him a man--who wants to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency has, on at least two occasions, used his office to inflict emotional distress on a private citizen by calling her deceased father a drunk driver with blood on his hands. Noting that a false accusation of a crime like killing somebody while driving drunk is automatically libel or slander, Mr. Biden is lucky that Curtis Dunn is no longer alive to defend his reputation in court. The fact that Biden waited for Mr. Dunn to die before he harassed Dunn's daughter with this false accusation makes him a coward as well as a liar, and his use of his powerful government office to hurt a private citizen in this manner brings "bully" to mind as well.

Pam Hamill wants America to know that her father was not responsible for the death Senator Joe Biden's wife and infant daughter in 1972. "[My dad] raised seven children, he was married to my mother for 53 years before he passed, and wasn't a drunk driver."

Hamill's father, Curtis Dunn, was the driver of the tractor trailer that crashed into the Biden family's car on December 18th, 1972 in the town of Hockessin, Delaware. Neilia Biden was driving her station wagon with her three young children after picking up a family Christmas tree.

According to a police investigation, Mrs. Biden pulled out into the intersection and didn't see Curtis Dunn's tractor trailer coming down the highway.

Senator Biden's own Web site goes beyond mere allegations and says, as a statement of fact, that Mr. Dunn committed vehicular homicide (or whatever Delaware calls the crime of killing people because of drunk driving).

To the loved ones of the victims, there is nothing really we can say to erase this tragedy. And, those of you who think it's presumptuous of me to say that… in a different circumstance, I got one of those phone calls. I got one of those phone calls like Davis Sezna got. I got a phone call saying, "Your wife's dead; your daughter's dead." And I've only said that three times in public before. But, I say it here because it's so important for you to understand. I got one of those phone calls. It was an errant driver who stopped to drink instead of drive and hit a tractor-trailer, hit my children and my wife and killed them. It wasn't an airplane, but it was a phone call: "They're dead." And, I can tell you from experience, and some of you can, too, that feeling that inside your chest is a black hole and you're being sucked inside it. I know from experience there's nothing in the near term we can do to bring solace, relief or peace to those people.

Senator Biden could have talked about the shock of getting a phone call of this nature without falsely accusing Ms. Hamill's father of homicide while driving drunk. We can envision how Mr. Biden felt when he got that phone call, and it is too bad that he could not envision how Ms. Hamill would have felt when she learned that a powerful U.S. Senator had used his office to falsely accuse her late father of a felony.

Some Republicans are worried about how Sarah Palin will fare in tonight's debate against an experienced U.S. Senator. It is the Democrats who need to worry about how a yellow liar and bully with a white stripe down his back will fare against the "Barracuda."

Beyond all that, he's showing the utmost disrespect for his own lost family members by misrepresenting the facts of their deaths for his own self-aggrandizement. McCain stayed faithful to his fellow POWs by refusing an early parole. Biden exploits his own dead wife and kids.
