NAIROBI, Kenya – WND author and staff writer Jerome Corsi has arrived in the Kenyan capital to investigate Sen. Barack Obama's ties to the prime minister, Raila Odinga, who was appointed to the position to stop a wave of violence by Muslim supporters.
Corsi came at the invitation of Christian missionaries who contend the rise of Islam in the African nation has been spurred by an agreement Odinga signed with Muslim leaders in an effort to win the presidency last December. Odinga lost but now shares power with the Kenyan president to appease Islamic leaders.
Corsi's highly critical book examining Obama's career, "The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality," remains on the New York Times best-seller list after its publication Aug. 1. The book was No. 1 on the list for four straight weeks after its launch.
Corsi plans to file daily dispatches from Kenya for the next week.
In a chapter of "The Obama Nation" titled "Kenya, Odinga, Communism, and Islam," Corsi says Obama supported the candidacy of Odinga, a Luo tribesman like Obama's father, in the 2007 Kenyan presidential election, opposing current president Mwai Kibaki, a member of Kenya's largest tribe, the Kikuyu.
WND previously reported a segment by Chicago's WBBM-TV that documented Obama attacking Kibaki with critical comments during a 2006 Senate "fact-finding trip" to Kenya.
The WBBM news team interviewed on camera Kenyan government spokesman Alfred Matua, who accused Obama of meddling inappropriately in Kenyan politics.
Matua said politely but pointedly, "I think Obama has to look at critically where he is receiving his advice from. Just because somebody somewhere wants to run for president, and he is using Senator Obama as his stooge, as his puppet, to be able to get where he wants to get."

Not exactly a bright move anouncing Mr. Corsi’s itinerary. Best casing it, the Kenyan Government will stonewall records and access to protect their native son. Worst casing, Mr. Corsi will get himself “Mau-Mau’ed” Either way, WND turned this into a real fool’s errand.
I have a big problem with it. Corsi needs to get his butt back to the US so he can objectively moderate the next presidential debate.
Until we begin to get mad, this election is going to Obama. I can’t begin to tell you how mad I;m beginning to get as I watch the media try to steal this country.

When things got out of hand following the election, Obama called Odinga repeatedly, but Mwai Kibaki, the leader of the Government would not return his calls as he perceives Obama to be biased toward his Luo relative Odinga in the conflict. Obama is featured prominently in ODM campaign posters, slogans, and songs in Kenya, and the plaintive phrase “A Luo will become President in America before a Luo will become President in Kenya” is often heard.
Maybe he will find Obambie’s brother’s keeper.
I hope Corsi has some good bodyguards. He is dealing with murderers here.
I sent an email to the McCain campaign basically telling them that Senator McCain and the rest of the REP need to grow a pair (though I was much nicer in my note). I told them that the DEMS don’t mind playing dirty and we are going to have to play that way too. Be strong, look/act Presidential and name names if necessary.
I’m really beginning to worry that we are going to have to all hail “king” n0bama come 2009. *barf* I’m going to be an anorexic alcoholic before this election is over.

Being one of Barack Obama’s most devoted disciples, Samoan congressman Eni Faleomavaega would be seeking the Indonesian government’s assistance in supporting Barack Obama’s presidential campaign as well as making the requisite pilgrimage to Barack Obama’s childhood school.
According to our Indonesian sources, “officials” who accompanied Faleomavaega were interested in acquiring any and all documentation or photographs of a young Barry Soetoro for America’s “national archives” and they were offering cash, lots of it. In a show of faith, Barack Obama’s childhood school would be one of the very first beneficiaries of this outpouring receiving thousands of dollars to upgrade the school and for the purchase of computer equipment, thanks in part to the benevolence of this visiting junket.
The challenge of course was securing Indonesian goverment records potentially damaging to Barack Obama’s candidacy for the US presidency as well as other records pertaining to a young Barry Soetoro and his family wouldn’t be so easy to acquire and secure, and for this, the visitors would need the assistance and cooperation of the Indonesian government.
It’s not that getting Indonesian government help is difficult, it’s not. It’s no secret that Indonesia is one of the most corrupt countries on the planet, but we’re not talking about the challenge of dealing with corrupt government officials here, but rather, dealing with the “true believers of change”. Convincing the Indonesian government that an Obama presidency will be able to deliver that “change” and that it was in the interest of both countries to see that Barack Obama was elected was nothing more than a fait accompli for Faleomavaega’s entourage.

I am curious why American blacks feel “brother” Obama will take care of them when he lets his real brother live in a squalid shack with no bathroom, electricity, and little means of support.
