Outspoken comedienne Sandra Bernhard has shot down earlier reports that she said Sarah Palin would be "gang-raped by my big black brothers" if she enters Manhattan.
"I never said 'gang-raped' and I never used 'rape,' " Bernhard told the Daily News on Thursday.
...Bernhard's clarification comes on the heels of the announcement that she has been dropped as the keynote speaker for mid-October benefit at Rosie's Place, a women's shelter in Boston.
Bernhard, 53, was asked to confirm the "gang rape" remark when first contacted by the Daily News in mid-September - and never denied it.
...Bernhard wouldn't recall the exact words she had spoken, citing her monologue's improvisational nature, but said she "addressed the issue [that] if Sarah Palin had, God forbid, been violated, would she be willing to care for the baby?"

I had this posted on my blog. I am sure that she says this. Well lo and behold I checked it out after reading your post. It appears that this has been edited out. My question is this...wouldn’t the original link to youtube.com be broken? After the new version is uploaded wouldn’t it have a new url and video number. If this is the case does this mean that youtube.com is covering up for the edit?? I checked Michellemalkin’s blog. She also has the “edited” version. I am sure I heard her say it. Did anyone else hear this? Am I going crazy?

I’ve never uploaded to youtube and I want to know if people are allowed to edit videos and then upload them with the same url and embed code or does this have to be done my youtube staff? If it’s by youtube staff then we’ve got them covering for Bernhard.

I did a search of youtube, and there are several vile clips of her talking about Palin. I am not going through any more of them to find it.
She is just flat disgusting and awful. And Racist. I didn’t realize. I have only seen her on the Letterman show. How can anyone stand to listen to that? It’s just not funny.

The only thing uglier than Bernhard is the cr*p that spews from her pie hole. Her only claim to fame is making it with Madonna.

And double coyote ugly is when he chews off his other arm because he knows she will be looking for a “one” armed man.
Greg Gutfeld of Redeye quoted her as saying it on his Gregalogue which is still up in video. If she didn’t say it, she could sue him. But the quote didn’t come out of thin air. It was widely publicized in the print medium at the time. She’s lying now.
Maybe not crazy. If we are, the people running this shelter, the people who initially invited her would also be crazy! They believed it too, upon getting a note about it, and disinvited her from speaking!
