FBI raids Obama friend's home

The FBI on Wednesday raided the county offices of a former Illinois state senator who is a poker-playing buddy of Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama.
According to Chicago authorities, the FBI visited the offices in Joliet, Ill., of Will County executive Larry Walsh, a longtime friend of Mr. Obama's, and his chief of staff Matt Ryan.
Mr. Walsh, who served in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2005, was endorsed by Mr. Obama in his county executive election bid. With the support of some of Mr. Obama's U.S. Senate volunteers, he easily defeated incumbent Republican Joseph Mikan.

Has he ever had any friends, period, or just people who are useful to him? There is a glaring dearth of touchy-feely life anecdotes about someone who is so famous and revered, unless everything in his life for the last 20+ yrs has just been staged...naah.
Then again, I haven’t read his books. I’m sure that would change my view.

Will County is one of 5 counties ringing Chicago's Cook County to the north, west and south. Lake Michigan is to the east. This is called the Chicago Metropolitan Area.
Will is southwest of Chicago. It's a mix of working class, middle and upper classes. Median income around $63,000 per annum.
It's also the home of Drew Peterson, the cop under investigation whose first wife's death has been ruled a homicide and whose second wife is mysteriously missing. My sister lives a couple blocks from the Peterson home.
