Now we know who NEEDS to be Defeated (both Democrats and Repubs-weak-kneed)!
Now we’ll never really know if we’ve been saved or not...
This is the SECOND list I have seen with Cantor’s name in the “YEA” column, so it must be true.
I had such high hopes for him. I am SO disappointed.
I will NEVER vote for him for ANYTHING again.
Yes! My rep voted no. Too bad we still got screwed. Flush.
Here’s how Minnesota’s congressional delegation voted...
MINNESOTA
YES - Ellison (D), McCollum (D), Oberstar (D), Kline (R), Ramstad (R)
NO - Walz (D), Peterson (D), Bachmann (R)
Gillibrand voted no? Bless her soul. Too bad she’s a pro baby killing Democrat (yeah, I know, redundant). My representative, McNulty, voted yes—either way, he’s not running for re-election. =)
Good God, I need to move from this state.
Well, at least my guy Platts from PA voted no. Sigh.
LaTourette, N
Thank you!
mr_hammer
...time to root out the rats!
I called her office about this too.
So many useful idiots in our government...
“remember the alamo”
Okay, now that that’s over and the interventionists won over the free-marketeers (and assorted socialists who opposed it for the wrong reasons), will the McCain/Palin campaign *PLEASE* start attacking Obama, the Democrats at large, and ACORN for their role in creating this mess??!
Please!!!!
While our MN delegation voted mostly “YEA,” I am happy to see that my Rep., Michelle Bachmann, kept her word and stuck to her guns by voting against this monstrosity. On issue after issue, she has been on the right side.
FWIW, I called Ramstad’s office this week (he had originally voted NO), and the staffer I talked to told me that Ramstad’s staff were in agreement that he should vote no and try to find a better alternative than this bloated pork disaster.
Congressman McCotter just gave one of the best speeches I’ve heard in a long time. It’s anything but happy, but it was honest.
I vote straight Republican, but in Nov. I will vote whatever 3rd Party candidate is running for Senator instead.
I also sent an email to Pete Olson telling him that when he gets in office this type of activity will not be tolerated, I would have voted against him had he voted for this bill.
My money says dems and most Reps voting no are up for election this year.
We knew Ramstad was a sell-out and Bachman is a good ‘guy’,
but once again:
“WHAT IS UP WITH KLINE?”
That is a joke right?
YAY!!! Tim Murphy (PA) votes no!!! Gotta go call his office and thank him!
Self reminder for November:

Republicans Petri, N; Ryan, Y; Sensenbrenner, N.
No change from the first round. They have us by the short hairs here in Wisconsin. B@stards.

Thanks for the money!
Kline also voted YES on the first bill.
I don’t know his reasons for voting for it - and whatever they are, I can’t accept them.
But his Democrat opponent wouldn’t an improvement at all.
Kline votes conservatively most of the time so I guess this is just one of those votes where we have to grimace and accept it.
But trust me, there won’t be too many more of those “times” in the future.
Looks like Zack Wamp caved to the commies. Sad ending for an otherwise conservative rep.
Nope, the folks at NRO figured that was the strategy:
1. look statesmanlike by ‘suspending the campaign’ (It at least got the ‘Call me if you need me’ gaffe from Obama.)
2. pass a ‘fix’ (I think that’s as in ‘dose of heroine’ rather than ‘repair’, but I digress)
3. attack with the ‘now that we’ve fixed it, let’s look at who’s to blame’.
I’ve got an idea: let’s flood the White House, Congress and the DOJ with e-mails demanding a special prosecutor to look into bogus accounting at Fannie and Freddie, and their lobbying and campaign contribution efforts that obviously biased the judgement of numerous Senators and Congressmen whose committees should have tightened regulations, but didn’t.
Raines, Johnson and Gorelick should get to do the perp walk just like Ken Lay!
Wonder if the "no" voters are getting grief.
Might be an idea for anyone who's rep voted no and who are happy they voted no to call and thank them.
FWIW
For those in the upstate of SC, contact Bob Inglis here.

For your viewing displeasure.
For ll those whose critter voted “YES” - go find out who their opponent is, and campaign and vote for that person, party be damned
The note Shays will get soon:
Dear Rep Shays,
Congratulations on violating the will of people. Congratulations on screwing your constituents on this vital matter. Congratulations on dragging this country down to help out a few rich people and enacting socialism for the rich. Congratulations on making America more communistic than China, to allude to Jim Rogers, investor-who-knows-what-he-is-talking-about. Congratulations on perpetuating the system that created this problem and will create it again in the near future. Congratulations on being an arrogant elitist who thinks he knows better. Yes, congratulations.
At least then, they would have to answer to those who sent them....
Start with this, Maverick McCain...
MICHIGAN
Democrats Conyers, N; Dingell, Y; Kildee, Y; Kilpatrick, Y; Levin, Y; Stupak, N.
Republicans Camp, Y; Ehlers, Y; Hoekstra, Y; Knollenberg, Y; McCotter, N; Miller, N; Rogers, N; Upton, Y; Walberg, N.
Oh Pete Hoekstra, how sad.
McCotter and Miller (was and is my Rep.) Whoooo HOOOOOO!
This is to the thread in general: Vote all incumbents out.
Our enemies are entrenched and our allies are worthless. The only thing that can stop our approach to a socialist state is to remove all the people with access to the levers of power. This crew is not beholden to the voter at all.
Giffords (D AZ-8) voted no the first time. However, she stayed in the well in case a different vote would help the dems.
She says calls to her office against the bill have been running “100-0”.
She voted FOR it this time, switching her vote.
When Pelosi calls, the poodle jumps in her lap.
When voters call, she pisses on their floor.
Shelley Capito- No , and I called to thank her.
How can we file suit to stop this Obamanation? (McCainanation?)
My grandkids will never get anything!!!
Hmmmm....my money says that both those voting yes and no are up for election this year (unless they are retiring)...since this is the house and EVERY member of the house faces elections every 2 years.
My rep McCarthy voted no. Guess he earned my vote this time. I will be writing in my granddaughter’s name for President. She couldn’t do any worse than the idiots that are running.
bttt
Several in my family sent same to Cornyn and Olsen. Called Cornyn’s Houston office. Told her wasn’t voting for him and had cancelled the contribution I recently made via cc. She said JC is very conservative and voted yes because there were tax breaks in the bill and went on and on. I finally asked her if she had the read the bill and she said no. To which I responded and Senator Cornyn probably didn’t either, thanked her and hung up - hit the send on the fax and email and called the cc company.
What’s up with Oklahoma - 3 Pubbies voted YES???
One of my three voted “No” - Thank you Dean Heller!
Bachman is my rep. I’m happy she voted this way because I think she was listening to us. I’m against rewarding/covering these bad lending policies. However, it seems that it was necessary to pass and get our economy on surer footing. One thing I do know for sure, somebody must be lying to me when George W and Nancy Pelosi are on the same page!
I’d like to say thank you to Reps. Lynch and Delahunt of Massachusetts, and I’d like to say EFF YOU to the other eight pieces of sh*t from Massachusetts, especially Tierney, you d-bag, for changing your vote. Did someone give you a binky, scum?
