Dear Lord, can we cut the negative crap around here? If our conservative ideology has taught us anything its that you and I, the private sector people, can withstand and fix anything in our economy. We (or our fathers/grandfathers) beat the depression, Hitler, scandal, Malaise, Carter, Clinton, Soros (oh yes, George, some of us see your hand trying to slap Adam Smith's away from time to time) and by God the free market will even be able to fix this mess and the bigger messes the bailout may cause. That is, unless we bury our heads in the sand and cry woe is us, this time the problem is too big.
I'm sorry, but thats not how we do things. That 777 point thud we heard the other day was a lot of the cowards leaving the market and good riddance to them. Unreasoned panic is the only thing that can make this a truly cataclysmic event, and unfortunately its in huge supply here on FR!

That’s not the point. Palin was heavily criticized for not being ready for the job. She needed to come out swinging last night and have the proof that she was ready for the job. She did neither. She should have ripped Biden’s head off, but she was too meek.

It’s only negative because (rightly so)..peole have become so enraged with the irresponibility of their supposedly “elected represenatives” (Over half don’t represent the American people anymore)!
A lot of us have been fighting this for quite some time, a heck of a lot of passioned phone calls, letters, faxes and emails. WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED IN OUR GOVERNMENT.
WE ARE ALLOWED TIME TO GRIEVE AND THROW OURSELVES AROUND....before we come back to our senses to fight it. It's a process. Please no lectures.
