DNC steps in to silence lawsuit over Obama birth certificate

The man suing Sen. Barack Obama and the Democratic National Committee for proof of Obama's American citizenship is outraged that his own party – rather than just providing the birth certificate he seeks – would step in to silence him by filing a motion to dismiss his lawsuit.

As WND reported, prominent Pennsylvania Democrat and attorney Philip J. Berg filed suit in U.S. District Court two months ago claiming Obama is not a natural-born U.S. citizen and therefore not eligible to be elected president. Berg has since challenged Obama publicly that if the candidate will simply produce authorized proof of citizenship, he'll drop the suit.

Berg told WND the longer the DNC tries to ignore his lawsuit or make it go away – instead of just providing the documents – the more convinced he is that his accusations are correct.

There are so many questionable issues about 0bama. None will come to light before November 4. The DNC is stonewalling anything that might be legally troubling. They just want him elected. Then when all the facts about his background come to light they will just say....never mind, he's already been elected so just go away. Remember Gregoire in Washington? Berg could raise a significant amount of money if he made an announcement that $100,000 to be given to the first person with proof that Obama was born in Kenya. Even if people have been paid off in Hawaii and Kenya, someone would come forward. Or, make it a million dollars. I would certainly be one of 100,000 Americans who would give 10 bucks.

If the Nincompoop has got a birth certificate and has shown it on and to a web-site, why doesn’t he show it to the court, and has this whole business closed down once and for all?

There is only two conclusions; either he hasn’t got proof of his birth in Hawaii and his US citizenship in which case he is not eligible to be elected president. Or he has got a birth certificate (or proof of birth), in which case he shows himself totally inept in handling this case. An inaptitude that really should bar him from any executive national office.

Can you imagine it, Obama wins the presidency before the suit is heard and tried, the trial comes, the court sides with Berg and demands proof of Obama’s claim’s to be a naturalized US citizen. Obama challenges the decision, an Appeals Court hears the case and refuses to overturn the lower court’s ruling. Obama then quickly appeals to the SCOTUS, the trial is expedited, and the ruling is 6 to 3 (I think Breyer would side with the majority) that Obama must prove his claims. Obama presents completely fraudulent docs, his election is nullified and Biden becomes president, or does he? Would Biden assume the presidency, I don’t know Constitutional law.

I've been pretty skeptical from the start, but ffs all Obama has to do is produce an actual birth certificate to shut everyone up but yet he doesn't.

Easiest thing in the world to make go away but instead he hides behind the CAIR lawyer and the DNC tries to shut people up.

I wish the media outlets would showcase this case and the updates to it more. Even Fox never mentions it is ongoing, from what I can tell.

I MIGHT give them some credit if the more fair or conservative outlets felt they should not report an allegation, waiting until there is more evidence (instead of LACK of it) perhaps, but why would there be a problem reporting a lawsuit filed by such a prominent attorney?

We hear of allegations and upcoming lawsuits all the time for everything else. Why not this one?

It doesn't matter. The truth is the truth. If he's elected, it doesn't stop the lawsuit or the quest for the truth. If it comes out after he's elected that he was ineligible, he will be imprisoned (having illegally obtained classified information from the executive branch of our government) and anything he enacted would have to be removed.

An interesting question. NObody's ever had to answer it before because nobody's ever had to ask. baraq is soooo special that way. Heck, you've gotta have a birth certificate just to be in kindergarten or Little League. But not to be President of the US? That is upside down!

Could a lawsuit be launched to force a federal agency to verify Obama's authenticy and provide the proof to the public?

Sue the FEC, the National Security Agency, the CIA, and the Justice department asking a judge to determine which of them have responsibility to enfoce that section of the constitution and to demand that they enforce it.
