The man suing Sen. Barack Obama and the Democratic National Committee for proof of Obama's American citizenship is outraged that his own party – rather than just providing the birth certificate he seeks – would step in to silence him by filing a motion to dismiss his lawsuit.
As WND reported, prominent Pennsylvania Democrat and attorney Philip J. Berg filed suit in U.S. District Court two months ago claiming Obama is not a natural-born U.S. citizen and therefore not eligible to be elected president. Berg has since challenged Obama publicly that if the candidate will simply produce authorized proof of citizenship, he'll drop the suit.
Berg told WND the longer the DNC tries to ignore his lawsuit or make it go away – instead of just providing the documents – the more convinced he is that his accusations are correct.

That is exactly what Berg has done and he as sited US Code that gives him the right to sue the FEC to enforce the law.
Maybe McCain should release his BC in a press conference and say for the sake of the country, if a problem were to exist, end this matter, Senator Obama and release yours in full.

I’m now leaning toward the idea that his mother renounced her own citizenship, hence barry’s too, and granny is being kept out of the lime light because she was none too happy that her daughter did that.

The guy is a complete fraud on so many levels. There is the fake one on his own site- then there’s the factcheck piece about it - photographed from strange angles and that whole article just seems...off.
It seems likely he was born in Hawaii- but the whole birth certificate mystery is confusing. It also seems he was a dual citizen with Indonesia at one time- and the Kenya connection is weird too.
He’s scared me, really scared me, since his acceptance speech in Iowa.
Please cite a section of the Consitution which you believe gives Congress the power to create a "Federal Elections Commission" with authority over the manner in which States chuse Electors for President and Vice President of the United States.
"Running for President" is an activity which is invisible to the Constitution. Only AFTER the chusing of the Electors, and the transmission of their votes (the only actual votes which will be cast for Obama), could the courts become involved.

Let’s look at this logically. Put yourself in the same situation. If you were running for President and you were being challenged on whether or not you were a natural born citizen, and there were lawsuits out there trying to prove you weren’t, wouldn’t you simply produce your Birth Cert. to close down the whole issue? I know I would. I would shut it down in 2 minutes.
The fact that Obama has not done this is compelling evidence that he is not, in fact, a natural born citizen. I think Berg is on to something here.
This story is continues to be veeery interesting. Wouldn’t you think that the Obama campaign would produce a valid birth certificate to end this continuing saga once and for all? I am going to file this latest information under things that make you go, “Hmm . . . .”

It doesn’t matter where he was born. If his mother is American he is an American.
Not so, according to the law (The Immigration & Nationality Act of 1952, as amended, to be exact).
Someone born overseas with one parent who is a US-citizen is, by law, himself a US citizen at birth IF AND ONLY IF the citizen-parent spent 10 years in the US over the age of 14. (That was later changed to 5 years in the US over the age of 14, but that change took effect decades after Obama was born, and does not help him).
IINM, Obama’s mother was 18 or 19 when he was born. Thus, if he was born outside the US (which includes US-territories, possessions, etc.), then he was not a citizen at birth, and thus, is not a “natural-born US citizen” per the requirements of the Constitution.
Regarding the version of the Obama document shown, is it me or do all the print features seem to have been poorly pasted over the background hatch markings? If it had actually been printed on the paper, I would expect to see the hatching between the letters where the laser print did not hit. Instead, there is a corona of white.

Personally, I agree that it is a crude fake and the fact that BHO is stonewalling reinforces my belief in the Berg lawsuit.
That is NOT his birth certificate (and it also may be an altered document according to experts).
A certification of birth is not the same thing, and has much less information that a birth certificate, samples of which are posted earlier in this thread. That is similar to what we have in PA which is a “certification of birth registration” which simply affirms that your birth was registered in the state.
From what I gather there are two issues: NObama’s father was not a US citizen, giving NObama dual nationality. And members of NObama’s family in Kenya (including his grandmother) say he was actually born there and that his mother later came to Hawaii to register his birth.
I’ve wondered that.

Do you really think any state would issue a BC not having the indisputable fact of the hospital where the birth occurred?
At this point, for the state to divulge at which hospital it might occurred--if it's not already widely known--would only add to the pool of people who could be bribed and/or come forward to make potentially false representation, looking for their 15 minutes of fame, e.g., a former worker at such hospital.
In short, there's no "need to know" on the part of anyone other than the judge and parties to the lawsuit.

In Obamanation book, the author seemed positive that little Barrack was born in Hawaii after his father deserted his mother. They had met and mated in Hawaii.
Far as I know the loving couple weren’t together again, so how and why would the Mom have gone to Kenya to give birth when her meal ticket (her parents) were in Hawaii?
She was pretty young then to be running around pregnant.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Berg may be a crackpot, but the reactions of the Obama campaign and the DNC to his lawsuit sure looks fishy. A few kernals of truth hidden in this situation may in the end make popcorn. Wouldn’t that be interesting?

Well, I think we would be rejoicing and the left would be crying and rioting. If that were the case, now I'm just guessing here...maybe they would ask Hill to step in and put her name on the ballot? It would be another unprecedented occurrence in our time.

That’s true but I read somewhere the point of contention was that Obama’s mom at the time of his birth was 17(?) and therefore, was not qualified as an adult and that since he was not born in America, he was at the least a citizen of wherever she happened to be. He may in fact be a dual-citizen. There was mention of a law passed since then that supposedly closed that loophole (being below the age of consent) and now it’s true it doesn’t matter what the age of the mom is, if she is a citizen, the baby is a citizen. IF the underage thing is the case, it raises the possibility Obama is/was a dual-citizen, which is not allowed in regards to pursuing the presidency. That’s why I think this story still has legs.
Natural born has been defined by Congress. It can include those born abroad under some circumstances. Obama’s mother would have been to young to qualify, however.
The Congress can't legislatively define a part of the Constitution. For example, read City of Boerne v. Flores (1997)
So, the DNC IS willing to throw the Jewish Vote under the Bus....another good reason to NOT absentee vote! You just can’t be sure when he’s gonna throw your vote under the bus (Black Panthers take note).
