DNC steps in to silence lawsuit over Obama birth certificate

The man suing Sen. Barack Obama and the Democratic National Committee for proof of Obama's American citizenship is outraged that his own party – rather than just providing the birth certificate he seeks – would step in to silence him by filing a motion to dismiss his lawsuit.

As WND reported, prominent Pennsylvania Democrat and attorney Philip J. Berg filed suit in U.S. District Court two months ago claiming Obama is not a natural-born U.S. citizen and therefore not eligible to be elected president. Berg has since challenged Obama publicly that if the candidate will simply produce authorized proof of citizenship, he'll drop the suit.

Berg told WND the longer the DNC tries to ignore his lawsuit or make it go away – instead of just providing the documents – the more convinced he is that his accusations are correct.

That is very easy for a liberal socialist, just buy off the liberally appointed Federal Judge, or just go judge shopping until they find a friendly judge who's supports Obama for the next socialist president and have him or her dismiss the suit against the messiah Obama.

It appears getting a copy of a real BC is not possible unless you are the actual person. BUT shouldn't a citizen have the right to ask the state of Hawaii if a baby was born in Hawaii to Stanley Ann Dunham (or various AKAs)? No one other than eligible state employees need to look at the BC to verify this. Would this work?

That’s a reasonable explanation. And it gives a good political reason why Obama would want to withhold the information, try to make his enemies look petty and when the truth does come out, it comes in a manner that is most favorable to Obama. Your explanation also covers why the DNC would move in and give him cover.

Berg could raise a significant amount of money if he made an announcement that $100,000 to be given to the first person with proof that Obama was born in Kenya. Even if people have been paid off in Hawaii and Kenya, someone would come forward. Or, make it a million dollars. I would certainly be one of 100,000 Americans who would give 10 bucks.

The original poster was asking about a lawsuit asking the Court to decide which agency is charged with enforcement of election regulations. My ‘rat Congressional delegation won’t do it, and other “gov’t officials” may not have that important requirement of STANDING.

The RNC, however, is well-positioned and well-funded enough to investigate the troubling questions. The real question is whether or not they have the courage to do it.

Not so, according to the law (The Immigration & Nationality Act of 1952, as amended, to be exact).

Someone born overseas with one parent who is a US-citizen is, by law, himself a US citizen at birth IF AND ONLY IF the citizen-parent spent 10 years in the US over the age of 14. (That was later changed to 5 years in the US over the age of 14, but that change took effect decades after Obama was born, and does not help him).

IINM, Obama’s mother was 18 or 19 when he was born. Thus, if he was born outside the US (which includes US-territories, possessions, etc.), then he was not a citizen at birth, and thus, is not a “natural-born US citizen” per the requirements of the Constitution.

Even wierder scenario. Obama Presidential Votes are nullified, and McCain becomes Pres with Biden as VP.

Precident : In 1872 Horace Greeley, Dem nominee, Died but 3 electors voted for him anyway. those votes were thrown out. Didn't matter because US Grant had a lanslide, but it was an ineligible vote. Be it dead or non citizen, would not be counted by the congress.

Quite obvious even if Osama Obama was born in Hawaii as he claims (which I don’t believe), that citizenship was given up by his mother when an INDONESIAN citizen adopted him. He’s not a US citizen, naturalized or otherwise.

I think you're right. At the least dual citizenship which makes him ineligible. I doubt he ever renounced Indonesian citizenship and swore to American citizenship at age 18 or older.

Is there a time line of his youth? Where he lived from date to date? When he moved to Indonesia and when he left? If he was in Kenya and when he left. When he was in Hawaii and when he left?

Yes, and natural born means you are born to ONE US citizen. Depending on what the other parent is, the one that is a US citizen must have lived in the US so many years, before and after a certain age.

It has NOTHING to do with WHERE the candidate is born.
