Sarah America, way to go!
I walked in on the debate Thurs. night, when Baldy Biden was whining how we should “talk” with Iran/Ahmadinnajacket. Talk, talk, talk, said he.
Next question he answered, he claimed, There has been no better friend of Israel than Joe Biden. Bite your tongue, Joe, can’t have it both ways.
Say it ain’t so, heh.
The only way I heard of it was via FR and local newspaper.
They originally slated this event for Orange County in September, but it was canceled and rescheduled for Carson.
There were a lot of people from Victorville/Apple Valley area, San Diego, Orange County and also met some from north of Los Angeles.
I didn’t realize it until I was there, but this is by Cal State Dominguez Hills.
By the time I saw this on FR, it was too late for me to go.
I had just been to funeral anyway, and that was important.
My daughter earned our tickets by making 400 calls at the McCain office in Tustin. We got there around 9:30 AM and they let us into the stadium around noon. Sarah spoke sometime after 3:00 p.m.
I think this rally was a turning point for their campaign in that the gloves are finally coming off.
It seats 8000 for tennis and 13,000 with the center court filled (this area was standing only). In addition there was a heavy overflow of people around the top of the stadium standing room only as all seats were filled. Many of these people had to be moved back up around the outer perimeter when they tried to sit on the steps in the aisles.
Easily could have been 15,000 plus.
Good work on your daughter’s part!! I’m so happy for you that you were there, Woo Hoo!!!
Sounds like Sarah is full steam ahead (born in the year of the Dragon, not that we believe in that stuff:-). Now, McCain has to stop being such a wimp too and show some sterner stuff.
Boy you should hear what McCain had to say today! He has been attacking Obama on his lack of history and not answering questions.
I sent you an email...
Okay, I will check my e-mail, thanks.
Fight on, John and Sarah!!
