McCain/Palin better get their collective arses in Virginia and do some heavy-duty campaigning. 0bama is getting ready to steal the state. What sucks about living in Maryland is that no Republican candidate is going to waste their time coming here.

And people wonder why the polls in Virginia are so bad.

Um yea, this is only like the next week of campaigning.
I’m sure there are a few more weeks left after these events?
Ok then.

Agreed, Indiana needs to have a few visits by Sarah and McCain. Once IN and NC can be secured it should be off to OH,VA,PA,MN,CO,WI. Hopefully FL can be locked up sooner rather than later

Not a big Jake Tapper fan at all (doubt anyone here is), but this is his *analysis* of her NE visit:

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/10/obamaha.html

He thinks it’ll be that close. Barack Hussein Obama must have sent ACORN down to Omaha to *find* all the people.

I was thinking the same thing. I’ll be there & I’m calling all my friends. It’s a fairly small venue (2,453 guests) so they’ll probably fill it up easy enough.

Thanks for the link Baladas. I had heard rumblings about Obama making a move here but didn’t quite know what it was all about.

I’m actually excited that my vote counts for something this year. I’m in the 2nd Congressional district and will be working extra hard to get out the vote this year. Usually nobody gets too excited because the GOP carries NE by 20-30%

The Omaha World-Herald reports that the rally will be at the Civic Auditorium, not the Music Hall (which is a much, much smaller venue):

Palin in Omaha.

What the hell are you saying? You have had some strange posts and if you have an issue with McCain/Palin, go somewhere else and play.

I’d be interested in seeing Obama’s schedule. Can’t bring myself to go look, but if he’s in Red states and so are we, that is bad news.

McCain and Palin need to sharpen their campaign. McCain can't let Obama off the hook by taking the high road and being overly polite. As for Virginia, it has to come down to the ground game. Get out and phone bank, go door to door, or donate money to the county GOP headquarters.
In Oregon we are still fighting the good fight, going door to door and phone banking in three hour shifts 7 days a week out here in Washington County. We may come up short, but it wont be because of a lack of effort from some of us.

And for those of you who don't want to phone bank but want to complain, at least donate some bottled water, pastries, or a veggie tray to your local GOP county headquarters to help the volunteers who are the ground game for conservatives.

Do you believe that conservatives who disagree with McCain on fundamental issues should not be allowed to post here?
