AKA: TERRORISTS!!!

Dr. William Ayers, the former leader of a 1960s-era political terrorist group called The Weather Underground, is now a professor of education at the University of Illinois-Chicago (UIC). His wife, Bernardine Dohrn, is with the Children and Family Justice Center at Northwestern University Law School. Obama is a former Senior Lecturer in the University of Chicago Law School. Wondering whether the three may have crossed paths is not speculation. It is a fact that they have. Ayers, Dohrn, and Obama have appeared together at a number of gatherings and academic events.

In November 1997, Ayers and Obama participated in a panel at the University of Chicago entitled Should a child ever be called a “super predator?” to debate “the merits of the juvenile justice system”.

In April 2002, Ayers, Dohrn, and Obama, then an Illinois State Senator, participated together at a conference entitled “Intellectuals: Who Needs Them?” sponsored by The Center for Public Intellectuals and the University of Illinois-Chicago. Ayers and Obama were two of the six members of the “Intellectuals in Times of Crisis” panel.

The origins of the Weathermen can be traced to the collapse and fragmentation of the Students for a Democratic Society. The split between the mainstream leadership of SDS, or "National Office," and the Progressive Labor Party pushed SDS as a whole further to the left. National Office leaders such as Bernardine Dohrn and Mike Klonsky began announcing their emerging perspectives, and Klonksy published a document entitled "Toward a Revolutionary Youth Movement" (RYM). RYM promoted the philosophy that young workers possessed the potential to be a revolutionary force to overthrow capitalism, if not by themselves then by transmitting radical ideas to the working class.

Mike Klonsky joined the MDS board in 2006. Klonsky’s father Robert, was a leading activist in the CPUSA. In 1968 Mike Klonsky was the national secretary of SDS and in May 1969 was one of five SDS members arrested when police raided SDS offices in Chicago.

In late 1969, Klonsky founded the October League, a pro-Mao communist organisation which in 1977 became the Communist Party, Marxist-Leninist (CP-ML). Klonsky chaired the CP-ML which was recognised by the Chinese Communist Party as their US fraternal party. Klonsky made several trips to China beginning in July 1977, where he was feted by Communist Chinese officials.

It has to be understood that Palin is the true threat on this ticket. Her election to the office of Vice President would be the 'foot-in-the-door' to returning control of this country to the people. It would shatter the Washington insider lock on the White House, and place a person that is intensely knowledgable on all the issues in a position of influence.

They can't thak that chance; they'll keep shooting their silver bullets until sunrise.

Many (including Karl Rove) are wondering why McCain would telegraph his intentions to roll out a new tactic, giving Obama the opportunity to pre-empt or otherwise counteract it. I can think of only a couple of possibilities.

1. He is telegraphing a false tactic to flush Obama out, make him "go negative" unilaterally and somehow discredit his poltical image as a messianic healer. If so, I cannot see how this will really help him, Obama has gone negative before and it didnt hurt his image.
2. He is pressing Obama to reveal his response talking points, as a means of assising in pre-debate prep. Don't want to float something in the debate and not know how Obama will respond.
3. He hasn't thought this through but just figured it would be good to tell everyone what he's intending to do. God help us if this is the one.

My guess / hope is #2

I just thought of a third possibility.

3. He is telegraphing Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright will be his new attack and this will have Obama spend time and money preparing a defense against that. Then, unexpectedly, at the debate McCain will instead attack on a completely different line (housing crisis and democrat culpability?) Presumably this will throw Obama off in his preparation and he will have to speak "off teleprompter" without notes in his own defense.

Carl Davidson, a former vice president of the Students for a Democratic Society who traveled to Cuba to meet with Fidel Castro and still praises the dictator today, is another proud radical for Barack Obama, serving faithfully as webmaster for “Progressives for Obama.”

Well, maybe those families who can’t turn the page on things and are homeless can move into the numerous boarded-up housing “developments” that Barry sponsored Tony Rezko in for government money in his district, then looked the other way while this slum lord let them go and deteriorate and be boarded up - while still helping Rezko along. One of the women from the Weather Underground, Kathy Boudin, became involved with a splinter group that committed a Brinks armored car robbery in New York. Two cops and a Brink's security guard were murdered. Boudin had a son with another former Weather Underground member named David Gilbert, who was also involved in the robbery.

When Boudin went to prison, Ayers and Dohrn took Boudin's son, Chesa, into their home and raised him. Chesa is around 28 years old now. He graduated from Yale in 2002, he's a Rhodes Scholar, and he's just as radical as any of his parents, natural or adoptive. Quoted in a 2002 Slate article about him: "We have a different name for the war we're fighting now — now we call it the war on terrorism, then they called it the war on communism. My parents were all dedicated to fighting U.S. imperialism around the world. I'm dedicated to the same thing."
