MacCain on FOX Naming and Names and Kicking Butt
I took a look around the TV channels as McCain was delivering his speech, and, wonder of wonders, neither CNN nor MSNBC were carrying his speech. I suspect the network chiefs knew what the content of the speech was going to be and decided not to give McCain the free air time to attack their candidate, Obama.
Nevertheless, I'm glad McCain is beginning to take off the kid gloves and is beginning to hit hard.
But, he's not hitting hard enough yet.
He needs to point out to the American people how inexperienced Obama is ar running anything. He's not experienced at running any kind of government at any level. He's not experience at running any kind of business, not even a mom-and-pop store. He's doesn't know economics, and what he does know has been absorbed through his dealing in congress and through his advisers, and his great sounding speeches have been written for him by his advisers and speech-writers. However, it's very doubtful that Obama himself would've been capable of writing any of those speeches.
Thus, McCain needs to point out to the people that, if Obama has never been in business, and doesn't understand business or economics, then Obama wouldn't be at all capable of running the most complex economy in the world. You don't turn over a major business entity to an office clerk, and you don't turn over the largest and most important economy to a newbie. Even after 4 years in the senate (of which he actually only had 143 actual days of experience), Obams's experience level hasn't increased.
Likewise, and most importantly, on foreign relations and on defense. Obama is still a newbie in that area except for the talking points that he repeats from the democrat handbook.
McCain is getting attacked, not just by Obama, but by the democratic leadership. McCain needs to go after them too.
Basically, McCain needs to present the question to the voters out there: "what is it in Obama's background and experience that qualifies him to become the commander-in-chief, and what is it in his business or economics background that qualifies him to lead the largest and most important economy in the history of the planet?"

PUNDIT ALERT
Easy response to the Obama surrogates saying that Obama’s relationship with Ayers was superficial and that Obama was only 8 and quote “said the acts were dispicable”
So Obama wants the American Public to excuse his bad judgement?

WELL - I read the transcript. I must say that Senator McCain didn’t pull any punches.
Very interesting tactics employed by the McCain campaign. Give a little, lure them in, then hit hard and at several places at once. He didn’t mention Ayers or Wright. Governor Palin gets to lead that attack. McCain counter-attacks with Obama’s lack of a record, his lack of experience, his dodging and weaving on specifics, the contradictions of what we do know about what he did with what he has said. Linking Obama to the financial mess at the two FMs is excellent work. What is Obama supposed to do? He has to answer Palin and he has to answer McCain and he has to try and do both the day before a debate. What will McCain bring up in the debate? How does Obama prepare?
McCain is showing he can adapt to changing conditions. The Ayers/Wright attack has been on the boards for months, I am sure, but the attack on Obama on the economy is new and it reads pretty well. The old man is a fighter who learned his lessons in real battle and in 30 years of often very controversial and heated debate. Don’t count him out.

It’s high time. Who thinks the timing is calculated for max impact, and who thinks McCain is only taking the gloves off now because he’s falling behind?

I’m glad to read that McCain went on the attack, but part of me wishes he’d waited just one more day and didn’t give Ding Dong and his communist team the chance to come up with refutations.
But, go McCain!
