WASHINGTON: Pushing back hard against pointed new attacks from the Republican campaign of John McCain, Democrats on Monday unveiled an ad about McCain's role in a savings and loan scandal of the 1980s that they say has resonance in today's financial debacle.

Oh goody, let’s delve into the “scandal” in which McCain’s actions were thoroughly examined found that he did nothing wrong.
Love how the Obama ads came out first but are “push back”. McCain ended up testifying against Keating and was cleared of everything. McCain is a legitimate hero.
Obama is a scumbag leftist lying radical do nothing.
Other than that they are equal.
Too late. McCain was absolved. Obama on the other hand, hasn’t been absolved
Keating Five vs. Ayers, Wright, Fannie Freddie, ACORN, that muslim guy (geez, there’s too many to remember)
Alan Cranston (D-CA)
Dennis DeConcini (D-AZ)
John Glenn (D-OH)
John McCain (R-AZ)
Donald W. Riegle (D-MI)
Do the Democrats REALLY want to go there and discuss the problems of a “culture of corruption” among a party in Congress?
AMEN! Just seconding that! Obama HUSSEIN is as trustworthy, believable, and ethical as his namesake, Saddam HUSSEIN! No wonder Obama HUSSEIN didn’t want to go to War against Saddam HUSSEIN! There was a kindred spirit there:-)
And John Glenn going to Obama rallies.
AMEN! Just seconding that! Obama HUSSEIN is as trustworthy, believable, and ethical as his namesake, Saddam HUSSEIN! No wonder Obama HUSSEIN didn’t want to go to War against Saddam HUSSEIN! There was a kindred spirit there:-)*
* Note: this is not a repeat, changed the TAG Line to be more accurate!
Points out the fact that Obama is dumber than a ROCK when taken away from the Teleprompter and his Puppeteers:-)
My sense is that by doing this the democrats are really pissing off John McCain. He seems like a different candidate today.
When the astronaut made way for the Boss on the Oval, 10,000 people roared in unison, "Bruuuuce!"
"You don't get introduced by John Glenn every day," Bruce Springsteen said, breaking into an impromptu version of Mr. Spaceman.
The Ohio State University campus was in a festive mood yesterday as the rock legend performed a seven-song, solo acoustic set on behalf of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. The free event, one of several Springsteen is doing for the Illinois senator, highlighted Ohio's early-voting law.
—yep—as I remember the situation, (Alan Cranston was my senior senator at the time), Cranston and DeConcini would have gone to jail if the Senate hadn’t been controlled by the Demo’s—the other three were somewhat less involved, with McCain’s involvement being through the good office of fellow Arizonan DeConcini—
to all kids here:
Mccain was totally exonerated in Keating by a Dem prosecutor/investigator who admonished the Dems for even looking at Mac to begin with
Mac was on the committee and was the token GOP looked at
all the rest were asses.
don’t expect the media to ‘splain this to yall
Skeletons in the closet? Skeletons in the closet?
How about Obama openly campaigning for his communist cousin Odinga who signed a pact with Muslims to enact Sharia Law if elected and started riots when he lost. Obama campaigned for an openly Anti-American candidate in a foreign country in 2006 at taxpayer expense.
The Democrat Party is THE party of CORRUPTION. It is the American version of the Communist Party. . and getting more that way every day. - Obama *could* have stood up for enforcing some oversight of Fannie/Freddie in 2006, as John McCain and Republicans wanted, but then the Democrat’s slush fund would have disappeared. - Big “O” is scared to death his ties to the CORRUPT Tony Rezko will come to light. His Ayer’s connection is also anothere area where he is scared of that indiscretion coming to light in more detail.
Yeah too bad he can't sing everything else is in place including his lifetime Communist party membership!
LOL. So now the Obama campaign, instead of continuing with the ‘let’s talk about what really matters’ line (which is bunk but generally effective, especially with the market as it is), has opted to condone digging into the candidates’ pasts. Genius.
Obama is hiding some nasty secret. Something nastier than the already unsavory tidbits that are known (Ayers, Wright).
DeConcini was appointed by President Bill Clinton in February 1995 to the Board of Directors of the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, so what was his role in the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac fiasco?
