Brian Williams is the only network anchor who hasnt had a shot at interviewing Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, and the NBC anchor wants the McCain-Palin campaign to know hes ready to do it - they just have to say the word.
I have access to the three metropolitan airports, Williams told David Letterman on Friday night. I cannot wait to interview Sarah Palin.
You know, Katies airing Part 17 tonight, he joked. And Sarah Palin and Charlie Gibson are in a pottery class together, so Ive been shut out so far.

Thank Chrissie and Keithie.
Take a seat on Olbermann’s lap and stop whining.
We need a pic of Brian Williams staff.
All women, one caker, heavily minority and lesbican.
And folks wonder who structures the news.
(i saw article in Vogue)
How about some cheese with that whine?
I’m sure there are a number of gay men that have pictures of Brian Williams staff. :)
Brian is a perceptive newsie isn’t he?
it was a “small” staff
God sand?
Pound it!
Sarah
I don’t think Palin needs to be interviewed by any more of the Obama hacks. I am sure Brian still cannot figure out why. These people think everyone seeks their good opinion. Sarah already told them she could care less about their good opinion.
There must be a price to be paid for networks and publications that are in the tank for marxists. Palin is a ratings dream - why make money for an enterprise that is trying to tear her down?
Palin should go on talk radio, FOX, and then limit herself to rallies and the ocassional shouted question from the MSM that travels in the cattle section of her jet.
And I thought NBC had billed themselves as a "family network"?
Yeesh, Brian, at least date once, don't hit the gas so hard...
NBC made their bed, the can lie in it.
Brian “Babyface” Williams of PMSNBC Fame whining to Letterman on Letterman’s CBS Show just after Letterman sinks to the bottom of the pit when he has Kiethie Olberdouchebag on his show in the prior days! Letterman is really hitting bottom these days, and his jokes are pathetic rants:-)
You think???
Brian grow a set, walk over to the two asshats the are on the cable news shows and tell them to call Sarah Palin and apologize like real men for being complete and utter jerks.
They can if they want to call her on positions and real issues instead of smearing her, her family with slander
Why dignify a propagandist by sharing his pretense that he’s a journalist?
Gee Brian, why not look in the mirror and go after your network.
Letterman really needs to be put out to pasture. He hasn’t been funny since 1995.
Poor baby, wah, wah, wah....
Palin is going to be Greta’s show this Wed. per Fox.
You want an interview? Start by pulling some strings to have Olbermann fired. And while you’re at it, Matthews. Yes, I know both are irrelevant, but it would have nice entertainment value.
Then, MAYBE you’ll get an interview. And then maybe not.
Too bad, NBC losers.

Nightline’s Highest Viewership Since Relaunch
For the fifth straight week, ABC’s Nightline beat CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo.
Last week it was a bigger milestone for Nightline the program saw its highest total viewership since the relaunch in November 2005.
Both networks grew week-to-week in both categories. The Tonight Show with Jay Leno was #1 in Total Viewers and the demo.
DL: “Do we really want a beginner in the passenger seat?” to which the obvious response (which didn’t occur to BW) is, “do we really want a beginner in the DRIVER’S seat?”
If Gov. Palin is smart, and I know she is, she will give no more interviews to leftist “news” organizations like NBC. She should ignore Williams.
Well Brian, I guess you’ll just have to watch her on TV an masturbate like every else. At least that’s the way your network’s main voice sees it.
I recall Brian calling Rush’s show with the “first time caller, frequent listener” stuff. I think Rush likes him. Too bad she did not choose him over Katie and Charley but since they bit her extended olive branch, Brian should quit whining.
thought the pottery crack was kinda funny. kinda.
I think she should go on the view. There isn’t a Dem on there with an IQ close to Sarah’s - she’d scare them to death... LOL
we don't need YOU or any of your driveby assassins.....
And go interview Bill Errs and Bill's Dad, Rev Wrong, that Texas pseudo muslim - Al Mansour, Harvard and Columbia Records departments, All board members of the Chicago Public School political indoctrination program Errs and 0be ran, 0be's Pakistan tour guide, The HI secretary of state birth certificate office, etc. After a couple of those a day for three weeks, maybe Sarah should talk to him.
Perfect. Under no circumstances should she agree to be interviewed by anyone connected to NBC or MSNBC. Conservatives and Republicans must play HARDBALL with news organizations that are biased and unfair.
Wow. I was hoping she would go talk to him, I can’t totally committ to voting for her if she doesn’t know John McCain’s entire voting history in DC. Post Katie interview she should have that crap memorized. /s
I wouldn’t do ANY NON LIVE edited interview
Even if a live one I would demand that half way through I be allowed to address the audience with my thoughts and message
I would make a statement upfront on the interview on what guide lines the network agreed to
If they try to renege live I would call them on it and be prepared to walk off
“Palin should go on talk radio, FOX, and then limit herself to rallies and the ocassional shouted question from the MSM...”
Totally agree.
did Letterman ever get around to marrying his kid’s mother?
I guess his father didn’t marry his mother, so maybe the irresponsibility runs in the family.
