Eventually Barney will be sent on a gurney ride ~ and that's just for the crimes we know about.

You never know what's going to happen when you set out to steal someone's entire economy and give it to your bed partners.

Ah yes. Pull out the race card to shut up the republicans.

You know what? I don’t think it works any more.

(Excerpt from Atlanta Journal Constitution, November 4, 2007)
Blacks dominate subprime loans.
By Carrie Teegardin (cteegardin@ajc.com)

National disparity: Lenders aggressively target minorities for mortgages with higher interest rates.

(COMMENT BY DB: GEE, COULD THAT HAVE BEEN BECAUSE, AMONG OTHER THINGS, LENDERS WERE BROWBEATEN AND PRESSURED TO DO SO VIA CHANGES IN THE HORRIBLY MISNAMED “COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT ACT” BY THE LAST DEMOCRAT ADMINISTRATION AND THE MEMBERS OF CONGRESS WHO CREATED THIS MESS???)

Black Americans of all income groups were much more likely than whites to take out high-interest “sub-prime” mortgages when buying a home, making them more vulnerable in the ongoing mortgage meltdown.

Nearly half of the blacks who bought a house in 2005 or 2006 ended up in the high-interest mortgage, compared with 13 percent of white home buyers, according to an AJC analysis of federal mortgage debt.

The disparity was striking, even in a comparison of home buyers with similar incomes. Among black home buyers making more than $100,000 a year, 41 percent got a sub-prime mortgage, compared with 7 percent of whites in the same income category.

(For the rest of this piece, you may be able to find it at AJC.COM)

This is why McCain has held back, but it makes no sense.

We must play the race card. Fully. Unapologetically. Ruthlessly. McCain cannot be hurt among black voters, who will never support him anyway. And he can capitalize on bitterness among blue collar and poor whites who never got jack shit from the Feds, but now are getting the shaft. It also doesn't hurt that Obama has surrounded himself with racists his entire career, and has a wife who is a bitter racist and admitted Ivy League affirmative action recipient.

Barney could do himself a favor and keep his mouth shut. He doesn’t realize how big a mess he has gotten himself into.

Barney likes the mess he gets into with his mouth open.

It’s Barney Rubble Frank that is using ‘race’ in the matter of the housing crisis and in the matter of the GOP criticism of him.

The Dims have used race all along in promoting their negligence of Freddie Mac and Fannie may, trying to make others feel guilty, racially for not agreeing with their negligence all the while knowing that it is not race but financial mismanagement that is the GOP objection.

There are plenty of ways Congress could, if it had the votes, directly fund “affordable housing” programs, but first Lyndon Johnson moved Freddie and Fannie off budget then Carter added the CRA demands on the mortgage industry, Clinton added to those demands and Obama-Acorn provided the community storm troopers to demand the CRA mandates were passed into the GSEs system; rigging the mortgage system to meet the “affordable housing” goals in a financially irresponsible manner (and officially, until know “off the budget”.

This financial crisis in the making was all along at the heart of GOP objections - not ‘race’ and Barney Rubble Frank knows it.

Wow.
I didn't know that the color of money was also a racial thing.

Maybe Bwaney is sticking up for all the oppressed green people.

Obama’s community activisim always employs tactics like this to get their point across. It’s an intimidation ploy to ‘get in their face’. See this as simply another Alinsky technique to tweak our conscience. Hugo Chavez despots, over the years, have effectively used this mechanism to make us recoil with a tinge of embarrassment. These techniques need to be challenged and eliminated, especially when it begins in the education of our young, one of Barry’s proposed plans were he to become president.

When a nation will not identify a criminal because of his race or because of his sexual preference then that nation will implode. This is what is happening to us, and from here on out we must point boldly to the criminal and demand justice, and not allow these hollow threats of racism to stop us at any cost. Protection from criminals is supposed to be a basic requirement in our Nation, what happened?

At what point were the great people of our Nation told to stay quite while others destroyed the financial stability of America. These certain folks care only for race or sexual orientation above the well being of all of us. I think that most of us need to do some serious soul searching and ask, as a people; why did we allow such open hateful and destructive policies to go unchecked, and such extreme views to get this far? How did people who hate America get this kind of power? If it's due to the fear of being called a racist or homophobes, then we are to blame and must accept responsibility and take our Nation back.

Those very few who scream the loudest, rule over those of us who say nothing. If these last few weeks have not taught us that it's time to take back this Nation, from what should be clearly identified as the enemy within, then we all deserve Obama's kingdom.
