Democratic party vice presidential nominee Delaware Sen. Joe Biden answered an Orlando, Florida reporter's question about the relationship between unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers and Democratic party presidential nominee Illinois Sen. Barack Obama.
Speaking with WKMG-TV reporter Jacqueline London, Biden answered questions submitted by local viewers. London herself asked Biden about Ayers:
"Sen. Biden, this morning on "The Early Show" you used the words mildly dangerous in describing the McCain campaign's criticism of Barack Obama's associations with William Ayers. Why is that? Was Ayers not a domestic terrorist? And do you think people are judged at least in some way by the company they keep?"
Biden: "Barack Obama was 8 years old when this guy was doing these bad things. This guy is no part of Barack's campaign and he'll be no part of an administration and it was 40 years ago. To make it sound like Barack is consorting with terrorists, the average people out there think, 'Well, God, is he sitting down and talking with these guys?' I just find it to be way over the top."
While trying to dismiss the issue, Biden spells out exactly what Obama was doing with Ayers: sitting down, talking with that guy and consorting with him.
Kudos to Jacqueline London for asking the question in a pointed manner.
Biden, can you repeat that, and keep on repeating that?
The Obama campaign keeps trying to deflect attention to the facts by attacking the messenger. At some point in the next few weeks Obama is going to have to address the issue himself. I think the general public still is unaware of the facts because most every article written about Obama’s deep ties to Ayers minimizes the connection.
Do you think we are stupid, Senator Biden? Oh right, I forgot that you have a higher IQ than most, and that you placed near the top of your law school graduating class.
40 years ago. But he’s the same terrorist and believes in that, as recently as RIGHT NOW.
There a line I believe in drawing. I wouldn’t invite David Duke or Jesse Jackson into my home. I just don’t find them worthy to break bread with. I expect others to draw some ethical lines somewhere. Obambi draws the line at loving my country. I wouldn’t invite them or allow them in my home either.
I get itJoe! So the Tate/LaBianca murders by Chuckie Mansons followers were also about 40 years ago when I was 6. If I were to hang out with Manson, would that matter Biden?
What else was he doing on the Annenberg and Woods boards?
It wasn’t 40 years ago, it was more like 30....
So it will be okay to work with an unrepentant Eric Rudolph in......what...12 more years?

It seems everyone else knew his history except for the person who is asking to become President!
I also won't take Obama's word for anything since he has lied more than once before just in this election as in "I will take public funding", "no I won't take public funding", blah, blah, blah.
My thoughts too! Now if Obama would only speak to it.
"I won't keep the Bush tax cuts...I will not raise taxes for 95% of the people", "I want universal health care paid for by gov't...I want a plan that covers only the uninsured", the list goes on and on.....
Tell us again Joe about 1929....FDR was president....the TV was in American homes....
How old was Kruschev during the Bolshevic revolution? Was he even born yet?
