I want to increase my monthly donation. How do I do that? Also, my email address has changed. (Yesterday, and I’m furious with my ISP.)

Jim, as a Californian, I'd like to request that you quit putting up those state standings.  I'm beginning to feel sorry for the other 56* states.

It's got to be quite embarassing to know that one of the most leftist states in the nation provides more funds to support Free Republic
than any other state.

I like our state being shown in this great light, but looking down on the other states isn't the gentlemanly thing to do.

What do you other states think?  If you're not going to knock us off the top spot, would you just like the list to be taken down?

Here's your chance to force DoughtyOne to donate up to $200 dollars to the FReepathon.
  Join the DoughtyOne FReepathon Challenge

here.  If making DoughtyOne have to fork over more funds for
the FReepathon sounds good to you, chip in.  Here's your chance to make him pay for all those times he disagreed with you, or just made
fun of the paultry donations from your state.  ;-)  Thanks!

Just funnin you folks.

Thank you. I’ve changed it, so I’ll receive the information when you send it. The ISP changed its name, and my account just stopped receiving anything, and *I missed mail from my mother* and she called to find out if we died.

I believe Cher was forced to wear something like that when the leakage became too great to ignore. I don’t think it’s very nice of people to make fun of someone who has a loss like that.

Q. Why will Jimmy Carter vote for Barack Obama?

A. Because Jimmy doesn’t want to be the worst President in history.

LOL, if that’s not true, it sure should be.

Carter’s too stupid to believe he is the worst President in our history. And besides, he’s the best ex-president. LMBO

A doctor and a lawyer were attending a cocktail party when the doctor was approached by a man who asked advice on how to handle his ulcer. The doctor mumbled some medical advice, then turned to the lawyer and asked, “How do you handle the situation when you are asked for advice during a social function?”

“Just send an invoice for such advice” replied the lawyer.

On the next morning the doctor arrived at his surgery and issued the ulcer-stricken man a $50 invoice. That afternoon he received a $100 invoice from the lawyer.

A woman with a brain tumor was surprised when her doctor called her, and told her of a new, experimental brain transplant procedure.

When she met with her doctor, he told her that she would require the transplant of one pound of brain. The doctor then asked, "What type of brain do you want?"

"What type?" the woman asked, "That makes a difference?"

"Yes," replied the doctor. "There is a substantial difference in price. For example, one-pound of brain from a surgeon costs $12,000, while you can get one-pound of brain from a nuclear physicist for $15,000, and so on. You will gain some of the qualities associated with the profession of the brain donor, so your choice can make a big difference."

"Can you give me one-pound of brain from a lawyer? Ever since I was a little girl I've dreamed of being a trial attorney."

"Sure. Let's see. That's $250,000," the doctor replied.

"You're kidding me! That's outrageous," the woman gasped. "That's over forty times what a surgeon's brain costs."

"Actually, it is quite reasonable," the doctor replied. "Do you have any idea how many lawyers it takes to produce a pound of brain?"
